Is that a US thing? I'm in the UK. I do agree they are not foolproof and can be overturned. Marriage seems to be very bad for ones financial situation.

It is, but is classed as permanent because the chance of reversal decrease with every year. It may be good as a first option, but having a second fallback increases your odds.

Pre-nuptual agreement and/or never get married. If you truly want to protect yourself, and it ain't for everyone, vasectomy. Freeze sperm first of course to give yourself the chance to change your mind. Many women won't be keen, but depends who you want to lead your life, you or your partner. They may not be keen to stay and that's OK, but you both get to choose what you want.

Start ups are not a great deal. Most fail and you're usually working overtime on the promise of it making it for your shares to be worth more than jack shit. I wouldn't work for an IOU. Corporates pay well if you can put up with the bullshit and make yourself useful. Some areas pay better than others.

Your mind and body obviously does. If you want to do it organically, you have to allow flexibility for it. If you aren't getting invites or aren't fitting in time, this is for you to address. Sounds like you highlighted a problem. I gave feedback and you're defending what caused it. It all depends if you want to deal with this problem or not.

So your plan doesn't include human contact, a basic and essential human need? You need a plan that is sustainable. Its good to have goals, but don't be a robot and give yourself downtime. As long as your life is moving in the right direction, you are good.

NoFap is a weird one. It's not long term and sustainable and the issue can often by porn. The most important thing is take a break from porn. The next thing is take a break from jacking off. 90 days is insane but can help.

You won't be able to change her mind and if you did. The damage is probably already done. Be there for your dad. The only ultimatum to your mum comes if she tries to financially ruin him. Only way she'll change her mind is if your dad makes himself more valuable than what is on the outside. Even then, it's no guarantees. Support your dad. Let him know you love him and that all he's done means the world to you. He'll be feeling self-doubt. Spent time. Gym/run. Have fun. Get him ready, even if he …

You're possibly doing this for validation. You need to do this to feel good about yourself, but ultimately it doesn't work. The problem is with this is you're reliant on others for your self worth. You need to work on your inner game, find out what you want in life and who you want to be. Then you set about to make it happen and be the person you want to be. No More Mr Nice Guy is a great book to start this thought process. Think about your hobbies, think if there is anything in life you always …

Is the passion still there or is it more routine? I Are you being assertive? Does she feel you want it? Women are often responsive. It's hard work to keep engaging but don't get stale. Mix it up.

You own your actions she owns hers, if you do the things that you'd dislike if she did it, you're sinking to her level. Do you want to be better? If your actions are based on others and not your own principles, you're still not leading. See what sort of man you want to be, and be it. Self respect is the best drug. You can't get butthurt if you know you've done the right thing and you do it only for you. Be the adult in the room and who cares what the kids do?

This is pretty weird. If it's so they mean something, fair enough, but comparing dick sizes is like trophies. Definitely not LTR potential as she'll probably still want to add to the counter. I'd ask her why she does it and why she showed it to you, but ultimately, I don't think any reason she'd give would put a positive light on it. Don't stick your dick in crazy, that's how you end up with maintenance payments...

She's not attracted to you and she wants a baby. You're worryingly close to Beta territory. She'll get knocked up then enjoy you providing for her. You both want different things and one of you is going to become unhappy. I expect that could be you. The only thing keeping you here is your low self esteem that isn't telling you you deserve better. Get out, or enjoy paying maintenance and jacking off to porn in the bathroom.

You'll probably have to take the lead. If she isn't doing what she wants give her instructions. Look down and say "oh baby, you're not done yet.", "heeeey, come back here" or whatever style you prefer. Gives you time to get your rubber ready while she's entertaining you. Maybe she don't know what to do, and you need to take the captain role...

If you decide not to be there, she may not want to continue being friends. That would be her choice. You mention the clingyness and her having tantrums and stops. You'll need to learn to deal with that. It can be raw emotions, it can be manipulation. Either you need to not get affected every time she had a tantrum. You also not need to give into demands. Make it clear to this that its excessive and you just can't do that. You want your time and space to be respected. If course make time to talk …

I still don't understand. You say you want away a she's dependent, but then you speak positively about it. It sounds like you're happy but want away. Most girls are going to get attached if you're doing a good job in the bedroom. If you're looking for that not being the case, your options may be limited. Stay because you want to, leave because it ain't working. Don't leave if some suggest it shouldn't be like that.

Like walking out mid rental contract, or without any notice if its needed. What do you mean by "way out of the window"? By worse, I mean don't form a bond with a kid to soften a mum up just to run, it's hard on a kid. Don't leave her in a financially fucked position because she paid your debts which is your responsibility. The situation should ideally not be worse than the one it was in before you met her, and you shouldn't have had a detrimental affect on it. Meeting your needs doesn't mean bur…

If you think you've gained an unreasonable amount from her financially, ensure its returned then you will feel less burden. Obviously exiting the situation wouldn't be easy and you don't want to leave her in a difficult situation, so your exit would need to timed and reasonable. If you feel this won't work, and can't work long term, then it'd probably end some time, so it's best to do it in the most reasonable way you can. Note: single mothers are dangerous ground, and kids unfortunately get bro…

Don't pressure yourself. Don't feel you can't break down. Everyone needs to at times. You've been through more than most have. It's ok to take time to yourself. It will get easier with time, but pain isn't linear, you'll have good days and bad days. Eventually the good days will far outweigh the negatives. Don't focus on the loss, focus on what those people gave you, and who they were. Find some way to pay tribute to them or recognise the impact they made in your life. They'd want you to thrive,…

Your mum has anxiety issues and is scared. She's worrying too much. Maybe sit down with her and tell her you understand she has her concerns, but you need your independence. You'll never thrive and adapt to life if you aren't given the opportunity. You'll never be good driving in rain, without driving in rain. You really need these freedoms to become the adult you need to be.

Great post. It's a sexual compatability issue. You communicate what works for you and you see it works for both or not. Not communicating probably bothers her more as she thinks it's her rather than simply that his sex drive is lower than hers, which is fine.

Great to hear. Good luck. It's very easy to get cavalier with advice, but it's always easier to risk someone else's contact with their kids than your own. In your own situation, it's always going to be precise and not exactly as you'd like to play it. Ultimately, kids come first and every action that goes into that needs consideration. I got downvoted for that advice, but I don't regret it. I've been through this situation and many haven't.

The problem seems to be that there is no clear defined contact. They need to either come together and draw up a parenting plan or they need to formalise this through the courts. This is not a simple or easy process and should be a last resort, but it sounds like the current situation is untenable. He needs to make it clear he needs 24/48 hours notice before planned changes and consent of things impact on his contact. It's about defining and solidifying boundaries. Obviously some things can't be …

What's to say when you go to the toilet, she doesn't tamper with your shit, then you'll have maintenance to pay. Never stick your dick in crazy. Assuming there hasn't been a STI or HIV check. Absolutely insane.

I've found the issue. You're unwilling to consider yourself wrong. You're arrogant and lacking in self-awareness. You want validation, not advice. She didn't perceive the value in you that you did. She kept the keys to the old house, but hasn't gone back. She's got new keys and whether you perceive them as losers, they make her feel and you don't. She probably knows how whipped you are and it isn't even fun for anymore. Everything comes across as a Nice Guy. You're judging it all as a covert con…

Can you recommend a self loading and emptying dishwasher and washing machine Einstein?! I think I have an idea what MIL doesn't like you. Zero charm. Only reason I'm assuming this girl does everything for you is she ain't pretty and she's punching above her weight. You don't seem to embody any positive RP traits. You own zero repercussions of your actions.

Dishwasher and washing machine, zero effort? Assuming you've never loaded up the dishwasher or emptied it. Assuming you haven't put the clothes out to dry. It's still not clear if you do anything.

Be yourself, and the best version of yourself. Don't compete, just excel in your mission. Not everyone will get you, but those that do, will. Your stature is based on your record and actions, not the speed of response. If you miss it, let it go. If you're truly confident, you don't have to say anything. The more you feel the need to talk, the more you are trying to prove yourself. A smile and raised eyebrows do just as well as a quick witted response. Sometimes the symptoms get worse with stress…

Buy a copy of No More Mr Nice Guy and leave it around the house. Maybe drop in that it changed your life. It'll teach him inner game and self- awareness while remaining palatable. If he reads that and engages, build up.

Yes. Know your purpose. Move towards it. Hold your frame. Don't fold if it isn't moving towards your goal. It's harder, but it's an option. Married red pill or mrp have people trying to live the journey.

If you really want to help him, maybe No More Mr Nice Guy. It will put him on the path, without the negativity. There is a disclaimer that it could make or break a marriage. You've got to consider if that risk is worth it before sharing it. Another is When I say No, I feel guilty. It'll teach him to understand when he's manipulated and give him techniques to deal it. I think they're sensible first steps without losing someone. If he wants more, maybe then.

If you are injuring yourself, your pushing the muscle beyond its capacity. You need to look after them. You will have more gains if not injured. First thing, warm up. Do some cardio for 10 mins first. Afterwards, stretch, but don't over stretch. Don't push the muscle, let the fibres stretch out. Rest. Every muscle group should have sufficient rest to recover. Muscle bulk is gained in recovery and the rebuilding of the muscle. If you feel pain that isn't a good feeling, stop, abandon the muscle f…
