Once the light switch effect takes place every discussion you've had suddenly becomes signs of an abusive relationship.

It's funny because I was thinking about this today. My theory is that extroverts are extroverts because they are usually successful in social interactions, so they feel good about it. Introverts, on the other hand, get mostly bad experiences from social interactions, so they avoid it. And of course introverts can learn how to get better at social interactions and get addicted to it like any other "natural" extrovert.

Great advice. The thing is I notice that with certain woman contradicting their feminist views is as if an attack on their convictions and sense of self. So although I feel the urge to treat it just like any other topic, I detect this behavior and fear for being attacked for voicing a contrary opinion. I think the answer here is just to be selective with whom to talk about it. I try to create some sort of test to identify their openess to this sort of discussion.

Thanks for your reply, this is the kind of advice I was looking for. I'll try to keep my mouth shut for longer then.

This kind of thing work for women in my personal life, bit this case seems to be different. The feminists I find in my professional life keep pushing the agenda of more women in leadership positions because "not enough women in leadership positions". They went as far as putting a feminist organization to give the whole firm a speech. What bothers me is that this might influence white knights in leadership positions at my firm.

To prevent it to grow at my firm; 2. not to seem an antisocial sperg on a very social team; 3. you got me there, good point.

I've been keeping my mouth shut so far. And the idea here is just for discussion purposes, not to be seen as alpha. Or better yet, the idea is to prevent this bulshit to grow on my firm. Let's say my team encourages discussions on all spheres of knowledge but I fear suffering the same treatment as James Damore.

She's nice and friendly so she gets promoted and you were probably the only one available for this type of behavior. Once you decided to leave, she kept being friendly because she still needed your approval since you knew people from her company. After you left she probably said shit about you to others and you coming back is bad for her, so she keeps up with the narrative. Get her fired as soon as possible or you're fucked. Don't try to amend things, don't try to talk to her, she already backst…

Go somewhere where you can demonstrate your value via your actions and the fact you can have fun, not sit across from her at a table and do nothing but talk. Could you give us examples? When I'm talking to a bunch of different people and approaching women I have a lot of fun and my energy is really high, but on a tinder dinner date it's harder to show high energy. Taking her to a club usually solves the problem for me.

Isn't this the anger phase? I know that for about a month after finding trp I was really angry with all the lies, behavior and shit that kept me down, and all I could think about is female hypergamy and pre vs post wall behavior.

I'm in the same boat buddy. My latest interactions with women are less agressive and slightly less successful because of this book. Since so many people recommend it, I wonder if by the end of it I'll improve my interactions.

Try to be witty, but most of the time you don't really have to. A few days ago I was made fun by a friend (coworker, way more successful than I am) and I had no answer to that, but it bothered me to keep thinking about it and turns out I found a great reply to that shit. When the same joke was brought up the next day I was ready to give him shit with a smile on my face. +1 respect for me from that asshole.

Hey, keep up the good work! I'd like to add my 2 cents: with the right set of rules such as the ones we get from TRP, the more happiness you share with people, the more you get back.

I agree with you with the don't shit where you eat idea. But can I keep collecting for long the benefits of this sexual tension? Or this type of behavior needs to be shut down before it turns my workplace into shit?

Ok, I just realized that the friendzone girl was the one that cock blocked me the other night. Damn.

Thanks for your reply but I'm not sure I understood what you're trying to say. So there is no such thing as friendzone except there is to boys and not men? I think friendzone is a creation of women to keep orbiters around. And I've always despised this kind of behavior, but I understand that it exists. You can't always be a desired guy to every girl and you need to know what to do when you're put in such a shitty position.

It's not that I want to stay in the friendzone. It's that I really lost all interest I had on her and turned my attention to her friend. This might be messing with her head. What her friend did to get my attention was this: when I made out with her friend we exchanged more agressive flirting, I grabbed her hard, she slapped me, etc. So the other night she tried some of these moves which are so out of her personality that stood out to me. I refused to reciprocate.

I'm quite new to trp so I'm still learning. So far I haven't seen anything regarding friendzone. Why do you say there is no such thing? Shouldn't it just be the orbiter idea with a different name? Then you have the ladder theory.

It makes sense. The funny thing is that the last time I saw her she had an orbiter. I criticised her on it and heard the regular speech he was only a friend. Later that night she kissed another guy and told me she regretted she did it in front of her orbiter. Yeah, just a friend...

I like all these advices. The funny thing is that I was so pissed to be put in the friendzone that I've lost all the interest I had for her. But it's nice to keep her around because I get to know a bunch of her pretty lady friends. Since she is the one craving attention now, how can I capitalize while keeping her in the friendzone?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
