Yes. It desensitises you both physically and mentally. Stop it for a month and you’ll see a massive difference. It will be tough at times, but it really does work. Remember to not to look at any porn either - no fap on its own is not enough.

Honestly, there are a couple of problems. Firstly your friend is seeing a married woman. That should tell you a bit about his morals. Second, she definitely sleeping with both her husband and possibly other men. In her mind, she justified it completely however. If they enter a relationship, she will cheat on him as well. How it begins is how it will end. I suspect your friend has too many feelings to learn the easy way, so be there when things crumble.

That’s an excellent summary. I’d add that she supports your dreams, gives you space when you want it, does stuff for you on her own accord (cleaning, cooking, favours), wants to be a team, defers to you for advice regarding work / life, drops her other things when around you (no phone usage etc). I’m sure there’s more too

This one’s interesting. Can you elaborate on how a lack of initiation and woman being the breeding stage (say in her mid 30s) are linked?

Please tell me you used protection and didn’t fall for any “oh cum in me baby, it’s safe”. Otherwise this is classic entrapment

This. It’s exactly the neediness that’s attractive, gives you something to focus on and something to “fix”. It’s hard to let go of the dream of a perfect relationship, especially when you have your own insecurities to battle

I think you hit the nail on the head here: thinking you don’t deserve better. The result is being drawn to the type of woman that scratches that itch for you

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
