| 2 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoAt this point, the discussion I wanted to have has already been had (see my other comments in this thread with another user). Now I’m really convinced you’re just being an aggressive troll, so I’m not going to engage with this any further. Sorry! | /r/MensRights | 22/02/23 12:16 AM |
| 2 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoOh boy, even one of the things you quoted in your response I never actually said, so I think I’m just gonna leave it here, it seems to me that you just want to start an argument by trying to smack down points I never made, explicitly or implicitly. I could take the bait and boy do I have a lot to say about the various points of your response, but I kind of think you’re just trolling so I’m not going to bite. | 1 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoAh sorry I can clarify!! Like... I've always felt pressured growing up to want sex at some point, and one of the most freeing things I've experienced is realizing that it's okay to be asexual and/or have no libido. I think that comes from the broader discussions of sexuality as a whole - learning that I'm not the only ace out there has made me feel like I'm not a broken person. I definitely see what you mean though regarding those stigmas, and it makes me sad to see, because like... there are so… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 10:37 PM |
| 1 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoFirstly, thank you for acknowledging that not everyone is wired to want sex haha, and for discussing this with me so civilly, I was worried that I would step on some toes by asking but my curiosity got the better of me! I guess if in theory young people should be having more sex but they're not, does that imply that maybe people are just becoming less and less wired to desire it as much? I'm definitely biased in thinking that, I'm sure there are many other factors. I can see how that would be fr… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 10:11 PM |
| 2 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoThe need to enter the work force is quite different than the desire for intimacy - the way that our society works is that if you don't work, then you become dependent on someone, and if you aren't or can't be dependent on anyone, then you risk being forced into homelessness, starvation, etc., which can very realistically put you in conditions that could cause you to lose your life. Sure, having a fulfilling career is a desire, but the right to work at all for yourself isn't so much of a desire a… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 09:48 PM |
| 1 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoI see, so it's kind of a "this is what I was promised now where is it" kind of frustration? (Thank you for answering by the way!) Do you feel like in the process of being told that men being promised this sexual revolution, they are also made to think that they should want it and have it be such a driving force in their life? | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 09:46 PM |
| -1 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoFair point haha, and of course I can respect that even if I don't personally understand it subjectively, I realize that I'm in the minority lol. | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 09:26 PM |
| -1 | Sexual loneliness: a 2023 study that reads like a black-pill promoI’m curious why there seems to be so much emphasis on sex on subreddits such as this… Is it really something that you think about so constantly? My perspective is that of an demisexual (or honestly I might just be asexual) woman, so for me it’s just not really a consideration, and I’m curious to understand y’all’s point of view better. Are you just told that you should covet sex and that you’re not good enough unless you have a sexual partner? I understand the desire for companionship, but the i… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/23 07:53 PM |
