I'm glad to hear that. I really got worried and I asked because I noticed that sometimes people try to indirectly communicate they have a problem. They insist on the problem in general, they talk about it a lot, mention it to many people without ever implying they are among those that have that problem. But in a way they ask for help. I wanted to make sure that is not the case. Best wishes! Have a nice day!

I'm a bit confused by your reply. I have several questions, but I'm afraid the answers will confuse me more. I'll state the questions, just to explain my confusion, but at the same time I feel like I wouldn't want to continue on the subject. My questions are: why did you mention what that very specific group of people thinks when we were talking in general about the characteristics of different species?, what do you mean by competitors (competition for what, and how do hobbies compete with peopl…

That seems a good choice. It might work, and even save other humans from the same fate, if the aliens believe we are not that interesting.

I understand. To me this solution seems a bit harsh. I mean it's not necessarily their fault that they got kidnapped by aliens....

Hi! 🐸 I have a relationship question about an imaginary scenario. Let's imagine that your husband/wife got kidnapped by (not quite moral) aliens that wish to learn more about our species. The aliens implanted sensors and transmitters into their eyes, ears, nose, skin and even brain etc, to be able to study everything that a human feels. Everything he/she senses is transmitted to the aliens. They also warned him/her that if he/she tries to get the implants out he/she will instantly lose their lif…

No, no, you must imagine that you are the one that did this, not the other way around and think what would you do to get out of the situation. But I totally understand your point of view. I'd hate that too. Would not break the relationship as it's against my principles, but I would definitely be unhappy and wouldn't trust that person anymore as well. Hi! 🐸 I have a relationship question about an imaginary scenario. Let's imagine that your husband/wife is a bit artistic but usually doesn't display their talent. They are also very in love with you. That some people think that men having bonds with other men is somehow negative shows just how broken our world is. Why do you believe people think it's negative to have a friend like a brother? I actually think this is a positive aspect of our species, that elephants do not posses. Why would you offer food to the mother, if she raised someone with low moral values? I mean shouldn't you reward someone that raised good kids? Or you said that because seafood is not a very healthy dish so she would have stomach ache later and her daughter would have to take care of her? I don't quite understand the answer, to be honest.

I see, well, in your original question, you asked about what would it make them regret, and not precisely revenge. I answered with that in mind. Ok, you really really want revenge scenarios? K. I totally disagree with revenge but if it's just an imagination exercise, fine. - one can catch some 40-50 cockroaches (the ones that multiply fast), and would patiently wait for an open window to throw them in the other's house. 😈 At night! 😈 - one could replace the other's face cream with hair growt…

I probably wouldn't have allowed myself to be with such a person in the first place. But let's say they had a sudden inexplicable change of character. My answer doesn't change in a way. Usually when I care for someone (not necessarily romantically) I care about them a lot, and dedicate a lot of effort to help them, or show them my appreciation, I try to be there for them, listen to them, support them. Feelings don't just disappear. Besides, I'm a less usual case, as I get close to people very slowly, sometimes taking years. So if I got to the point of loving that person, it was because I observed their actions, the way they interact with others, the way they talk and think, their domains of interest, their moral values, and I already evaluated them as a kind, wise, honest person. So if they cheated on me, I would be upset more on myself: either because I couldn't correctly evaluate their char…

Oups, I forgot about elephants. Yet elephants are still a bit more aggressive than humans, and show less empathy. For example, male elephants during musth become very aggressive, especially with other elephant males. They don't have "bros" and they can even kill family members during such times (maybe in their case domestic violence would be a way to show dominance). So still not as social, empathetic, friendly, loving and caring as humans. Regarding fairy tales and horror stories from the past,…

Hi! 🐸 I have a relationship question about an imaginary scenario. Actually this is a question I'd like to ask a penguin couple, related to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWH_9VRWn8Y as they are also a monogamous species, like humans, and after watching the video I wondered what the husband/wife (if I can call them like this) of the penguin would think/feel. I'm confused, weren't we talking about equal laws? and domestic violence? and how we should protect all victims? how does income affect this? Those metrics that I mentioned had nothing to do with income by the way.... could it be that you think about some statistics that you read, while I mean others? I totally agree, there should be equal laws, and not just regarding genders. As far as I know most countries slowly reach equality or at least they are trying. People actually measure this stuff (I saw some statistics once, about equal treatments, equal rights, equal laws etc; I can search it for you if you want; but it was made based on European Union data). I think you are right. But at the same time having life figured out means different things for different people - and I think this is were all the problems emerge from. A lot of people believe that everyone should follow the same rules. well, I think that people that got upset with her post were following her, considering her world view as important to them, not quite a mentor but someone they would listen to. By the way the phrasing sounds, I think it's because of the generalization. I think that if she said something like "My man's house is a reflection of myself" it would just mean a rule for herself and people may or may not agree, but overall, it wouldn't affect them in anyway, so she might even receive congratulations for the way she works to respect her own values. I'm not from US so I don't know about a lot of the things you say. I'm sorry. I think we should try to stop violence against anyone. I understand so you think it's because of ideology. I haven't read that book, I'm sorry. Well, not all people conform to that part of the ideology, or the subdomains of that ideology. yes, but in order for someone to find you wouldn't it be wise to go to the places where compatible people might walk around? for example if you enjoy history, you could go to history museums, classes, events, presentations, try to communicate with random people there. I'm a bit confused about the phrasing. What does being inside a person means? I believe it meant to be inside the group of friends, or inside their thoughts, no? But not all people are compatible, and that is normal and ok, one just needs to find a more compatible group of people that have common values with him.

That didn't stop a cohort of feminist orgs from stopping to support her, did it? I never knew about this, I usually don't read this kind of stuff. I wonder what made them choose to do this. Did they really think she was innocent? Were they motivated more by the fact that they disliked her former husband? Was it only because of the ideology? I would really like to find out. I believe she lost that trial hasn't she? But, I also believe both good and bad preconceptions lead to unfortunate outcome. In my opinion, a person should be considered good or evil only based on their actions and the decision environment they were in, no other attributes of that person like gender, education, age (except maybe children as their brain is not yet developed), social status etc should mean anything in the eyes of a judge. So we probably agree here.

If those Red Pillers were behaved like that from the start, most of them wouldn't end up as frustrated, bitter people. I am sorry, it seems you think that they were mistreated and out of pain they chose that path which is a very upsetting and sad thought. Disagree. If you start out by treating everyone as a wonderful person, assholes get to hurt you and that's stressful. Well, I might not have expressed my thoughts in a very clear manner. I know the quote, although I don't know why he felt that way, I mean he was a great person... But there are other reasons too...He also loved a pigeon. If you'd love a pigeon and marry a human that would be cheating, no? He also considered solitude to be important for his research. He wanted to dedicate all his time for science. And I'll reply with another quote: "Be alone, that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born. "... Regarding avoiding relationships because one h…

I understand, and probably you are referring to girls you considered as life partners and you feel you didn't match their standard. Have I interpreted your message well? and now, let's say that you really consider that person great and worthy of the effort, would you find it bad to try better yourself until you reach that standard? I'm asking because I approve this idea and I apply it myself. I hope it won't disturb you if I share a bit of my principles. For example, I am continuously working on…

Well if they got together, I don't know, could it probably be because their life goals and views align? So if thug means what I read in the urban dictionary... Well, let's imagine that a girl wants to ride a motorcycle, wear T-shirts with a hard rock band, learn karate and fight random people and plan mischievous pranks together with her husband. This means she would match more with someone who can be called a "thug", no? And less with, I don't know, a scientist? Even if the scientist is a great…

Yes, now that you mention it, I also think a dog might be better. Dogs seem to express more emotions than birds, are also less fragile, and it seems just easier to communicate with them. Because the things I know about them is only from their forums. And to be honest when I found such forum and read the articles it gave me the impression that they weren't kind humans at all, judging by the way they talked about people (and when I say people, I mean both women and men). I actually couldn't find one message that wouldn't just seem evil, and I did read for some time because I was shocked to see such messages. I understand your point of view and you are right. However I still think that people should be free to play at any age. Why would this be wrong as long as they work, are responsible, are kind, are polite, are good members of society. They should be allowed to do what they enjoy, no? Even if we are talking about simpler toys... if one enjoys them... why not?

I'm so sorry. But time is not lost. You can play at any age. I don't understand why people suddenly have to give up playing with toys and games when they grow up if they enjoy it. As long as they are responsible and good people, I think it should be considered fine.

I can totally understand that. If he already has the qualities you've mentioned, we'd try to find out what are the other reasons. For example it could simply be that he doesn't find people sharing his values or passions. Hi! 🐸 I have a relationship question about an imaginary scenario. Let's imagine you are happily married and deeply in love with your husband/wife. Yet unfortunately at some point they get extremely ill. You feel depressed and desperate knowing you'll lose them so you cry all the time even while walking on the street. Yes, that's what I said in my other comment, there are toys that require more precaution, good reflexes, intelligence. I wouldn't be comfortable allowing a 12 year old kid build an airplane model (there are some models that actually fly; so using the model kit they build a drone). For a 14/16 years old kid, this would be fine. I also consider that at 14/16 their main concern is school, building friendships, going out to play with friends. I'm not sure if they think about relationship stuff at th…

well, they are still quite small at that age, no? I mean, I may have talked in a far too general manner.. so, yes, there are toys like plushies, and plastic toy cars which are for little kids ... and there are toys like drones, board games, Lego, puzzles, train or airplane model kits, hobby microscope/telescope (for kids, not specialized ones), sensory fidget toys, magnetic spheres, remote control cars and so on that are liked by older kids.

I don't have children but in order to answer, I'll imagine I do. I want to mention that I'd apply the same strategy for both a potential son or daughter in the mentioned situations. I don't know if I can answer age related, as I consider 14/16 are still children and it seems to me it wouldn't apply. They play with toys and watch cartoons at that age. I mean I'd say that what you describe is something that a close friend would do because they know you better and feel more comfortable helping you and the lady with such problem. Yes but I guess you and your partner are both humans, so you eat normal size steaks. But here you need steaks for a werewolf stomach, so about 50-60kg. To some people that might get too expensive.

Hi! 🐸 Thank you for your answer. If your flair uses the literal sense of words, we have the same age and the same neurological disorder. If it doesn't disturb you, I hope it would be ok to share with you some background info. I'm autistic. Professionally I function quite well (I'm a teacher, I also work in IT). However, it is really hard for me to understand society and human interactions. I tried reading psychology and sociology books, but I also read literature and watched movies with realist …

This is actually a really nice and interesting idea. The forest would be a natural place for her to hunt but it would be a nice place to live in, even as a human. As you know when the change occurs you could isolate or leave for that said interval and come back when she is in human form. It would only be quite dangerous if hunters learned about the werewolf and try to catch her on full moons.

Hi! 🐸 Did you write this to ask for opinions? Or it's more like a statement? If it is for opinions.... I believe the only way drugs make a person cool is through the fact that the person eventually gets unhealthy and dies (because of said drugs), and afterwards they start to lose body temperature. If your comment was not asking for opinions, then sorry, I'll delete what I wrote.

Hi! 🐸 I have a question about an imaginary scenario. Suppose that you find out one day that your very beloved husband/wife is a werewolf, but he/she doesn't know. Let's imagine that one full moon night you notice some movement in their room and when you look through the ajar door you see them changing in their monster form and jumping through the window. As you are worried for their health you run after them and follow them through the city and you are horrified to see that they decide to eat a …

Hello! MBTI is an abbreviation for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It classifies personalities based on 4 criterias: introversion/extroversion (how much you enjoy others' company, if you recharge by talking or by being alone), intuition/sensing (how do you percieve the world around you, how you learn about it: theoretically, in an abstract manner or practically with the help of your senses), thinking/feeling (how you make decisions: based on well known and argumented facts or based on feelings) and…

I think it's too little information. Without any context, it seems more like a normal helpful gesture. Would you offer the same for someone you had no romantic interest? For example, I would definitely help a man with this even if I had no feelings for him. But if I did have feelings for someone I would help him on more occasions and also try to spend more time with him. So you can think about the other interactions, does he do more for you than for other friends? Does he often help you? Are you…

Pass the duchie ‘pon the left hand side Oh I forgot about this song I really loved it when I was a kid, but couldn't understand the lyrics well back then (English is not my first language) - quite shocked when I learned what it was about. 😁

Well, this thread can contain any ideas, as far as I know. 😁 So, as I had this curiosity I decided to post it here. I rarely talk to people about social interactions or relationships. I hardly found the courage to try my first comment here (two days ago), but I managed and I felt happy, so I'll post other questions like this one in the following days, if that is OK (just for the fun of it). 😁

Yes, if they read their diaries they do actually get to know those people on a very personal deep level, and if their thoughts align it's possible to develop feelings. What I was wondering is if those feelings could get strong and serious enough to face a ghost and confess. 👻😁 I would actually love a movie with such a subject. Yes, I understand, I'm sure that having the ghost tied to only one place is a deal breaker for most people.

Yes but wouldn't it be sad for the baby ghosts to all be born dead (ghosts) and never experience life as we know it? Besides they will never grow, as they are ghosts. They will do baby sounds for the rest of the eternity (yeah I believe I can now understand why you thought about sending them to people you don't like )

Oh, dear! That is much more personal information than I expected for this question. But I'm not exactly sure why are you choosing that way. If you love the ghost why do you call Ghostbusters? If I remember well they only trapped the ghosts, they wouldn't manage to heal their souls, so I'm not sure why you choose to do this for the ghost you love? Is it to protect the others from him/her? What if they are a friendly ghost and people enjoy their company? Would you still call Ghostbusters?

Hi! I have a (little weird) question if that is ok. Has it ever happened to you to fall in love with someone that died a long time ago (you never met them, it was decades or centuries ago), for example because you read about them or someone told you things about them and you got to really admire them? It doesn't have to be a historical figure, just some random person. Now, if the answer is yes, I have another question. Let's imagine that ghosts are real and you find out that said person actually…

Hi! Is it OK if I ask what model(s) are you referring to? What is your favorite personality model? I enjoy reading about psychology and I'm quite curious. Personality tests aren't usually very reliable as personality is very complex so probably all the classifications have small inaccuracies. I find MBTI to be quite accurate (but it's just anecdotal, not based on research). Thank you in advance.

Yes, I saw that too. sometimes they would lower the food with a string. It even happened to me - I forgot something for school, and I think my grandma threw it from the balcony so I would catch it. It was quite fun.

Hi! My test result is INFJ, but this is because I worked a lot on developing empathy and emotional intelligence. If I had taken the test 10-15 years ago I guess my result would have been INTP (this is probably my natural personality type). You asked us to state the reason why we are single. In my case I believe it is because of my autism. I never had a relationship, and I have only one friend (the only one in my entire life - also an INFJ), as I am mentally a child, although I'm 35 (I'm still pl…

Happy birthday! Best wishes! 🌞 I would say, learn as much as you can, enroll in new classes or read a lot of books that would help you develop a lot of skills, use all your energy in a constructive manner, don't waste so much time daydreaming, but work on those dreams, always be better than you were the week before, believe in yourself, take care of your health, make a lot of friends with same hobbies!

Hello, I'm sorry, I'm not posting with my real account as I generally avoid talking about intimate things or relationship stuff (although I do read purple pill articles just to learn from the debate). I found your challenge really interesting, I like it a lot, so I'll try too. I apologize in advance for any mistakes as English is not my first language. I'm also not very talented in creating metaphors/analogies as I have autism so some of the following might seem forced a little. So, you requeste…
