I have a lot of the same interests and I actually think it has helped me in the long run. It has helped me connect with people and gain respect by being able to hold conversations. I don't think you realize how much men WANT a woman who can talk intelligently about politics or world events or history. So many young women rely on their looks, they let their minds go hungry. Also, weight lifting is fantastic for the body.

I'm just now, at the age of 23, adjusting to a more "feminine" lifestyle. Which at first felt so WEIRD. But I actually really like it now. Changes take time. You don't realize how much you are going to grow both physically and mentally in the next 5 years.

Don't feel bad about the feminist beliefs. I too followed along because I thought that's kinda what was expected of me as a female. Then I grew up and reality hit me in the face. I started having a lot of questions and things didn't add up for me about feminism. That's when I took a step back and read more into why people are against it. Wow, things changed real quick for me. Then I found this sub and it all clicked.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
