Yes. I could never date someone who didn’t agree with me on the big social/political issues. LGBTQ rights, abortion rights, those kind of things. I’m left leaning. I could date someone centrist or left, but definitely not someone on the right.

If a guy can have a standard of don’t be fat, women can have a standard of “just be taller than me.” Like, I’m 5’4. 90% of adult men are taller than me lol.

If there’s 10 guys who broke up with her sure. If there’s 2 then not necessarily.

Women aren’t vacuum cleaners.

I personally don’t think so. Everyone who exists has value in my mind. But I’m also a woman who doesn’t want kids and idgaf if someone calls me “worthless” because of it. Oh well. Their opinion.

There’s so many reasons not to have kids I agree. I’m in the same boat. I want to travel, build my career, do so many other things without kids tying me down.

Better than not being allowed to work, being forced to rely on a man and have his babies. Now I have much more control over my life.

All I'm saying is a woman's body will never be the same after pregnancy, even if she gets back to her pre-pregnant weight. If that upsets a man, he should not have kids with her. There's plenty of reasons I do not want kids - this is just one of many. I already am a mediocre person anyways lol, I'm just okay with myself now and don't feel the need to force myself to give birth to kids for a man who may not even appreciate what that does to a woman's body.

It's no wonder the childfree movement is growing amongst Millennials and Gen Z. What exactly would incentive me to get pregnant if my husband will no longer be attracted to me? There's things pregnancy and childbirth does to you that you can and can't control (stretch marks, loose skin). I know women who lost all the pregnancy weight and went back to their size before kids yet their bodies still looked different. Yeah. No kids for me if my husband might leave me for not looking the same after I …

I don’t mind kids. I dislike taking care of babies. Older kids (6+) I can handle. That’s not how I view relationships. If I love someone I’m not making excuses to leave. I won’t have one foot out the door. I’ll just have a safety net if something goes wrong. I want a partner in life. But I won’t settle for a man who just wants me to be a housewife.

There are men who don't want kids. They are out there. Or I can marry later in life to a man who already has kids. I have options. What I will not do is force myself through 9 excruciating months of pregnancy 2-3x just to please a man who wants kids when I can find one who doesn't.

It doesn’t make sense to you. It makes sense to me. I don’t want to need anyone. I want to make my own money so I can support myself. It’s not about being an appealing mate for me. It’s about survival. I would not marry a man who expected me to be a housewife or stay at home mom.

There are difficult classes. Statistics, Finance, Accounting, whatever I got through it. I guess it's just not as difficult as an engineering degree (whatever) but more difficult than gender studies, history, communications, etc. My point is I worked hard for my degree, and I don't want children, so I have 0 desire to be a housewife. Fuck even if I did want kids, I wouldn't stay home. That is not what I want out of life.

I busted my ass to get a difficult degree so I could take care of myself.

It's fucked up, honestly. Being wanted is so much better than being needed. It's being able to leave, but choosing not to because you're in love, not because you're financially tied to someone else.

Because I don't ever want to be pregnant and raise kids. I don't like kids. I would ask the same of you - why did you get a degree? Why don't you want to stay home and raise kids?

All because they perceive dating and life to be 'too easy' for us. SMH.

I didn't go to school for 4 years to get a degree to clean up shit all day. If men don't like it, they can stay home and raise the kids. Motherhood is not important to me.

I'd literally rather do anything else rather than have to depend on a man for survival again. Why are we regressing to 1950s and before shit? Jesus.

Increase in sex means an increase in the risk of pregnancy though. Besides, when I actually have a partner, I’m pretty on for them lol.

I’d still have the worry of pregnancy and prefer to limit my partners to men I’m in monogamous relationships with.

I agree with this. Men who want a partner in life, not just a girlfriend, would not ever say this.

Flaws in looks that come up after years of dating is nothing. But if he doesn’t do any work around the house and I’m doing all the chores, that’s a dealbreaker for me. I don’t mind doing slightly more chores than him, especially because I genuinely enjoy cooking for example, but I’m not doing like 95% to his 5%.

I don’t get the child support thing. Men want to be able to opt out of parenthood but someone has to pay for the kids. It’s either the father and the mother, or the mother with government aid if she needs it... you take a way both and you just put single mothers further into poverty.

The average man in my country is 5'10. The average woman is 5'4. That's a 6 inch height difference, it's not going to be very common to find a woman who's 5'8.

Meh I actually don’t get a lot of attention at all and I’m average looking. Granted I might have a resting bitch so maybe I’m unapproachable 😂

Hard agree. I would encourage SAHMs to have at least a side hustle or part time job or something that means they have some of their own income should something happen.

I agree with that too. I'm still on the fence with children, but even if I had them, I would not want to stay home with them all day everyday for the rest of my life.

Same. I need to have my own money and not only rely on a mans money.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
