but doesn't the bride's family usually pay for the wedding? From a financial aspect, I don't really see a problem with this, as long as the parents can afford it, there is no burden on the groom. However, I do see a problem in the bride trying to make this the "perfect day" and forcing the groom to act like someone he is not.
