| 1 | OkCupid Newbie GuideI had great success with this, especially Tofu's guide, linked first. I dropped the "Hey How are you" part after about 5 messages and my response rate went up. I signed up for POF on Saturday, sent 15 messages since. I've got 3 dates, and a few more slow convos going.
