It took me a long time to come to that conclusion on my own

There is definitely an adjustment. No one can end a more than decades-long relationship and expect to walk right back into the fire. Honestly you'd be a fool to do so. You would be much better off giving yourself some time , how much? I don't know , six months for some six years for others. A diminished libido is a sign of depression and or other medical conditions in your 30s. I would address this as a separate issue from your divorce, see your doctor. It is very important that you work on your…

Good luck, it is seriously difficult to split something with someone knowing that you provided the majority and they will reap the benefits as an equal if this is the case for you personally I'm sorry I hope things work out for you in the future.

LOL, Traditional Values I gave up on them if you read my comment I stated they don't exist. If you think enjoying your life and having sex with younger women is disgusting okay fine that's your opinion. Some people think Scotch whiskey is disgusting as well. I did everything I was programmed to do as amen, thought I was building equity it meant nothing. Now I spend my money and time on expensive Scotch whiskey and cheap young women.

Misogyny my ass LOL. Never said I hate all women that's what misogyny is. I hate the system that has evolved over the last 60 years. Traditional Family Values, do not exist.

Good for you, if therepy works for you great. Personally I don't need to pay another person to tell me I'm wrong about everything and talk about feelings. If I wanted to do that I just get married again. I'm much more comfortable with facts, truth, honesty, and loyalty.

Exactly and usually works out this way. Woman gets pregnant it's a woman's CHOICE to have an abortion or to give birth. The man has a choice to pay child support for at least 18 years or do the traditional right thing and marry her. A woman has a CHOICE stay home and raise the child or child care and continue a career. It's impossible to convince some people women have more choices than men and men often are on the hook financially for the choices that women make.

You should not have to remarry, there are too many young women out there being raised by single mothers and were kept away from their fathers that it is easy in this hookup generation just to get a little ass and walk away.

This is either an attorney talking or a woman. Both of which I would not trust as far as I can throw them with an anchor tied around their neck off the end of a pier.

Yup, I agree. Unfortunately for millennia male DNA has driven us to want to provide and protect for someone to ensure procreation.

Lol, you have to be a woman. Seriously you have a vagina, don't you be honest. I know what it's like to raise a child. I raised four of them with my wife. I also had custody of my 3 month old grandson for almost a year. At 46 years old I was caring for an infant on my own, no girlfriend no help and working full-time. If you're not a woman pretended to be a man you're a man with a b**** brain sorry, I see a lot of lack of reason and lack of responsibility and what you're stating.

Lol I operate a forklift in a shity warehouse. I've done this job for 30 years for my Wife and Kids never liked it never will. What benefits did I reap? I would gladly have stayed home and done what she did which was literally nothing most of the time. Fortunately all my kids are grown, independent self-sufficient adults. She cheated I let her stay she cheated again I kicked her the f*** out. Her career trajectory was to sit on a sofa get fat as hell and suck somebody else's dick once in awhile.…

I can't believe these people that are in favor of spousal support. If you choose to go to college and accumulate massive student loan debt you made a choice. If you choose to stay home to enjoy the incredible experience of raising your children everyday and not working, that is your choice. They both come with consequences. No adult should be forced to support another adult in a country with equal rights, opportunity, freedom of choice. Alimony, lifetime alimony is a Financial rape of another pe…

I'm so sorry, I know those words because I've heard them so many times before, they do not help. You are not losing it all. I know those words because I've heard them so many times in my own head and so many times from other men. I / we like so many men make the mistake of making our wives and children our entire world. Completely investing in them and only them. The solution is to create a world for yourself. A little bit of Solitude it's necessary to find Who You Are what you really need. Spen…

I don't know what the statistics are, but it is crazy how a person can live for 20 years 10 years or 5 years with a smile on their face, never making an accusation of abuse. Then after separation and divorce suddenly and I mean instantly, overnight you become known as an abusive spouse. Every issue, every problem, you are at fault and you are guilty. You are an emotionally, mentally, physically abusive controlling, manipulating person. It's funny how these things never come up until you truly of…

Man I feel for you I really do. I am a disabled vet diagnosed with major depressive disorder. Depression is a very difficult thing for others to understand unless they've been through it themselves. It is best not to isolate yourself. I'm sorry your daughters who are of of an age they should feel compassion have not shown you the minimal amount of respect. Unfortunately being women they will always see you as an adversary, tool to be used to get what they want. I have two grown daughters that I …

Get the divorce done as quickly as possible . Like ripping a Band-Aid off your scrotum it's going to hurt like a son of a b**** but after you'll feel better . You didn't indicate your age. At my age of 50 and as a disabled vet myself I can tell you friendships are formed around common experiences whether they be the trauma of battle or the trauma of divorce. You will find new friends and rekindle old ones during this current struggle and after it is a distant memory. Depression and hopelessness …

You don't say how many years you been married, how old the children are and how many. The only advice I can give you is that for me I tolerated it once because my kids were young and she did not have any real means of supporting yourself meaning I would have had to pay a lot of Child Support and possibly alimony. If you take her back insist that she get a decent-paying job like I did so that when she does it again and she will you can at least Payless in child support and alimony. If you can aff…

Invest in your own happiness and the dividends will be felt by your wife and your children.

When I was married I invested completely in being a husband and a father. Like the stock market if you invest in one stock and only one stock and it starts to fail you will feel pretty f****** lousy. When my marriage failed I lost everything I invested sucked really bad. I learned that I should have invested in other areas of life that made me happy, friends, Hobbies, close family members outside, my Wife and Kids. I never so much as went to Home Depot without one of my kids with me. Tell your w…

Yep this is always been my thinking. What gives a child the most emotional stability two parents that are in a stable loving relationship. What gives a child the most Financial stability two parents in a stable loving relationship. The list can go on and on children immediately and directly benefit when the husband and wife relationship is the primary and most important one in the family. The in-laws also benefit. Think about it if the husband and wife were stable loving and committed there's of…

I've learned I cannot predict or control what other people do that included my ex-wife. Much to my disappointment I discovered I also have little control sometimes and have not been able to predict how I will react to what other people do. The best thing you can do is talk to a lawyer. Although your first thought might be to try and figure things out and plan it is almost impossible to do things with a clear mind during this time. A lawyer might not always give you the best advice but it is thei…

Wow I feel for you man. The idea of it brings back the deepest pain I can remember from the betrayals of my ex-wife. Nothing can compare to it truly feeling your pain man. The only comfort I can offer is that in time you do move on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
