Thank you! It's a uphill battle almost constantly, but I keep reminding myself that even when I want to give up the fight, I need to continue to advocate for justice for the sake of my child. ❤

"I will not be surprised ..." THIS! I was abused by my dad & brother, and my first adult relationship, guess what! Was abusive. I'm safe(ish) now, but my child's father DOES try to control everything I do. He also hurts my child. I will say, at least in my state, the courts care more about who contributed DNA than they care about the well being of any child, he constantly harasses us, threatens my (very amazing) partner, child discloses abusive behavior and nothing ever comes of it. He has learn…

FDS disapproves of this and considers this a red flag during the vetting phase. If you told your friends and they said, "good luck finding someone who doesn't do that" well, I'd be disappointed that their standards for men are so so low that we are willing to publicly allow and accept our partners to "heart" or "react" to women wearing next to nothing that probably look nothing like us. It's flirting. Cyber. But still flirting. Your friend(s) can see that your bf is liking these photos and it's …

Trust your gut. But sometimes people have bad luck. I have ehlers danlos syndrome and an abusive narcissist baby dad. My current HVM partner learned this pretty early on, but after we were official. Just talking is a weird time to tell the bad things about yourself.

I met a man with a good job, a nice home, stability. We were chatting for weeks and I started it off letting him know I wasn't looking for hookups and that I had a child. He didn't make a move (it was before I found fds ok!) So I made a joke like when are we going on a date? He said that he could never date a single mom, but that he'd fuck me (someone who's clearly FERTILE, thus not good enough to date but good enough to potentially get me pregnant again) weirdos! Bye bye 👋

Any advice for men who are super abusive and dangerous to me and my son when police won't listen?! He has like 13 violations of a court order, has abused us in multiple ways and spent only 21 days in jail! I think he is a CI

I was sexually assaulted and and bullied out of school, while my abuser kept all his friends, classes, etc. What a world.

Most of my comments here are cheerleading other people's posts, or the sad realization that we can relate... this is a great post and one that I'm glad to relate to (in terms of that marriage/family dynamic) I'm so happy to be here. I'm so glad I leveled up and left my nvm ex. He never sees our child (4). Hasn't even texted about him in a month. I've met a man who is the John to my Amy. I'm so glad that I survived that abusive bullshit, am smart enough to see through lvm and nvm now, and have a …

I'm not yet married and never had a divorce. But going through even your husband's phone could land someone with criminal charges depending on your state. Now if she can prove they willingly gave each other the passwords that's a different story.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
