Why is this relevant? I mean we know she's female from the article: the 26-year-old grabbed her breast and squirted milk onto a female officer's forehead, arms and clothing. and I don't understand what else you could be trying to get at with your comment

I took it more as mirroring their idiocy to prove the point about their idiocy, not necessarily trying to prove the opposing point. The concept of "x privilege" in general seems pretty silly to me.

Basically male privilege is the idea that men have some sort of inherent advantage, and are generally better off in society. The suicide statistic is relevant because how much better off are men really if they commit suicide 4x as often as women? That's pretty much the general idea.

Not sure about in the U.S., but you actually can't really have this in Canada without marriage, because after a certain time living together, you are married under common law, and women have rights to the same things as with standard marriage. It's pretty hard to be a long-term relationship with kids without living together for a couple years.

Not sure if as many men prefer dominant roles as many would think, though, as I often hear complaints about passive partners, and how a lot of men feel like they HAVE to assume the dominant role.
