Just fyi, Provocation is only a partial defence that's really narrow in its uses. From what I read its main use is to reduce a Murder charge to Voluntary Manslaughter and in some cases of "Gay Panic" in which non-violent homosexual advances are met with violence it allows for punishment below sentencing guidelines. I didn't come across anything saying it was a defence for DV cases or even common assault. -1	I don't hate women, I just don't respect them, and unless many changes within their gender come about, I never will. I lurk this sub from time to time and I find it so sad and ironic that these guys have entrenched themselves in this circular worldview that can never be wrong.
