How exactly is AI generated pornography negatively affecting women exactly? If it uses the likeness of real women, and is published without their consent, then there's a legitimate case to be made. | /r/MensRights | 20/11/24 04:29 PM
| -1 | Who do you consider a good male role model?None of this is true, or you misunderstand what trafficking is.... | /r/MensRights | 30/08/24 06:03 PM |
Who do you consider a good male role model?Where has he been convicted (or even admitted to) human trafficking? | /r/MensRights | 29/08/24 08:17 PM
Indian men be mentally/physically prepared to face racist attacks when travelling abroadLook, I'm as pro Men's Rights as they come. But we're also wrong if we deny cultural differences. Indian men are, on average, more forward and assertive towards women than 'Western' men. Yes, there are exceptions, yes, it's largely cultural -- but we can't deny this. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/24 06:25 PM
For all men who are misunderstoodAs someone scrolling reddit because his now ex moved out 12 hours ago, I really needed to see this. I can't tell you how much this helps. Thanks 😊 | /r/MensRights | 02/10/21 05:41 PM
What did Jeff Bezos' wife and Bill Gates' wife do to deserve so much of their husbands' hard earned money in divorce settlements?Exactly! There may be legitimate arguments against divorce settlements, but these two women aren't it. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/21 06:47 PM

Suggested changes to NZ laws to prevent accusers being "revictimised by lawyers' cross-examination"Relevance? This is an obvious statement, and I haven't seen anyone say the opposite in the thread.... I could just as easily say "Just because there is a conviction, it doesn't mean the defendant is lying"...... | /r/MensRights | 14/08/13 10:51 PM
Suggested changes to NZ laws to prevent accusers being "revictimised by lawyers' cross-examination"I don't care if the accused raped someone on national television in front of a panel of judges and His Holiness himself - (s)he fundamentally has the right to a trial by jury, where the burden of proof is on the accuser, and the defendant can face the plaintiff. Anything less than this is a step away from open, fair and free trials, and it's not the kind of stuff we want in NZ. But, if you're going to make such broad, sweeping claims like: In many sex offending cases a person's guilt isn't much … | /r/MensRights | 14/08/13 08:24 AM
Suggested changes to NZ laws to prevent accusers being "revictimised by lawyers' cross-examination"The last bit is the scariest for me - the requirement must be on the accuser to show there is a case to answer, before the accused has to so much as state his name. | /r/MensRights | 14/08/13 12:58 AM
/r/MensRights - You're being brigaded and you should know about itI'm more than happy to do so, but sorry, forgive my ignorance, how do we report to an admin? | /r/MensRights | 02/08/13 11:42 AM
Rules of Feminism and AskFeministsBut we all believe in equality - and this makes us feminists, right? So we can post wherever we like? /s | /r/MensRights | 04/07/13 12:31 AM
Facebook to target sexist hate speech with only input from women's groups... [Not the Onion]Thanks for the reply. Can't the two work in tandem - have a campaign against misandry, coupled with using the existing mechanisms for reporting it (indeed, this very sub reddit questioned why feminists didn't just report it a few days ago). Also, if I may ask, why are they "false flags"? This sounds dismissive of a genuine complaint? | /r/MensRights | 30/05/13 11:49 PM
Facebook to target sexist hate speech with only input from women's groups... [Not the Onion]Thank you, that's the kind of response I was after. Do you feel like it is suppressing free speech, even though it's a private firm? If people don't like it, they will leave fb and find somewhere else? How is it any different to a bar enforcing dress standards? | /r/MensRights | 30/05/13 11:42 PM
Facebook to target sexist hate speech with only input from women's groups... [Not the Onion]Why can't we beat them at their own game? If I posted a collection of misandrist fb pages, would people be willing to report them? | /r/MensRights | 30/05/13 12:47 AM
US military personnel: GTFO now..Feminist armed services committee setting up "special system" for sexual assault reporting, similar civilian systems. Same systems that overwhelmingly favor women andI'm sorry, what is the issue with the policy? Is there a concern that steps to protect victims override due process? (Genuine question, as OP's video didn't seem objectionable, to me at least). | /r/MensRights | 12/05/13 11:37 PM
US military personnel: GTFO now..Feminist armed services committee setting up "special system" for sexual assault reporting, similar civilian systems. Same systems that overwhelmingly favor women andI agree with you, and I don't see why you're getting down voted. That video itself raised few flags with me, indeed the interview itself was very gender neutral. The only thing I can think of is that the measures to "protect victims" in her bill override due process and preclude the presumption of evidence - and that's a perfectly good reason to dislike a bill - but that was not evident in the video. | /r/MensRights | 12/05/13 06:49 AM
[X-post] from r/wtf right in the feels.Any knowledge of what office that image is from? Wouldn't mind sending them a quick email... | /r/MensRights | 03/05/13 09:58 PM
Three in four believe those accused of sexual assaults should be granted anonymity- The IndependentMs Saward added: “It is not about naming and shaming people. I want to name and protect people. I am very sad that people seem to think that protecting men is often more important than protecting those who for whatever reason end up as victims." Note: Protecting men. Not protecting the accused, or alleged criminals, but men, as if they're the only ones who commit these crimes. | /r/MensRights | 02/05/13 02:29 AM
Outrage in the Femisphere - (x-post from r/sjsucks)Oh I don't know, I always found it to be one of the more moderate sites (not moderate, just more moderate). They had a good piece the fairly recently about if the term feminism was still useful. The last few paragraphs almost sound reasonable (for the current climate anyway). Edit: Removed link - sorry if this contravened rules | /r/MensRights | 27/04/13 12:50 AM
Saw an ad at my local mall for this site and i dont know what to doI agree, it's a great idea. Also, I think we should let the stores know that we wont be buying anything from them, whilst they sell that brand. | /r/MensRights | 26/04/13 11:42 AM
