You’ll feel better if you don’t. It’ll come back around just stay your own course and be the best father you can to your children.

I realize this doesn’t often carry a lot of weight because of the reality of gender normalizations today…. But before you get down on yourself about dating afterward, think about how it would sound or read if you sat down for a third date and had just contacted the woman’s ex husband to get background on what she was like or what went wrong. I’d keep far far far away from anyone who does that sort of thing at any point

Once it happens - which could be caused by anything and a true one time fluke…. it’s hard not to think about it the times after. I’d take the pill and get the nerves out of your system so you can just focus on doing your thing. Especially if it’s with a new partner you’ve already had an issue performing with. Then it’s less likely you need it in follow ups similar to what you’re describing with having no issues w your ex I’ve been in the exact same scenario

Don’t read too far into it. It could be happy tears. It could just be the lifted weight of the fiasco being over. One of my close friends gave me sage advice that at the time was so simplistic I actually resented it for years “ Head up. Move forward. “ It’s all you can do so don’t worry about her side of it. Easier said than done but still needs to be done

I have this conversation a lot. There’s something about the number of dicks chasing women now that just changes things

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
