I agree with you. I agree that this is what the sub is for. What I originally commented was because I disagreed with the notion that women have always, with no exceptions, been the privileged class. Society has deemed men less valuable than women in some places and eras today, but the opposite is true in other areas and other time periods.

This is false. A quick search shows that 70% of the homeless are men. You are just making numbers up. Here, I will try to use some of your tactics. 18% of women are raped in their lifetime compared to 1.4% of men (USA statistic). You know why? Any sources for your claims that women never had to find food, build shelter, and the only thing they had to do was raise a child? From my understanding, in hunter gatherer cultures the women foraged and prepared food while men hunted. The majority of the diet came from food the women brought back. I am curious to understand more of why you feel that women have been the more privileged class throughout history!
