At 28, Your best years are in front of you. Keep your head up, work hard at work, exercise, and invest time and energy in people who reciprocate. Maybe that’s mom and your cousins and extended family and not women for a little while.

Yep. Very important for men especially as they age. Be a producer, not a consumer.

It’s the hardest mental health years of your life as a man. It will get better dude. Many older guys have been there themselves at younger ages. You’re in college, keep getting good grades. Invest yourself in YOU. It may take years, but good things will happen for you. Life will get better.

They won’t reject you though. Because of the implication.

Body weight fitness, body building, 1200isplenty*, a few other diet ones. *This is too low an amount of calories for someone who is working out hard, but it’s an eye-opening counter balance for me as an American raised to celebrate constant overeating

All true...and also, some men mistakenly apply the things that made them successful in life to the pursuit of one specific woman. Eg - ‘I busted my ass and eventually turned myself into a pro athlete with hard work...if I work hard enough on getting this woman, I can eventually make her do X’ X = be loyal, be a good homemaker, be content with you, be a good mom, etc. No - your hard work can’t make her do shit.

Because she’s having second thoughts about the breakup as she realizes she’s losing her sure-thing meal ticket as she ages out of her current peak (25). You are a great man and a great provider. She fucked up. Let that simmer for her.

Please listen to this guy OP. Watch this video of a female fighter talking about how she completely lost attraction to her bf. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=no7FuVwcn6w OP, the woman you personally are naturally very attracted to is absolutely not the woman you should be having a family with. That’s the part that’s out of alignment here.

Learning from other men’s example how to create healthy boundaries. A very successful man sidesteps female land mines every week. There’s some value in noticing guys who handled that rise in success well and those who don’t, so that when a man eventually has more abundance than he has today, he doesn’t fall in to the same traps other men have before him.

I don’t think you gain much from asking her to tell you when she goes running with the other guy. Or from the boundaries conversations. They build resentment from her, and she doesn’t have to follow the guidelines anyway. The most attractive thing you can do is to work on yourself, and you have started the path of doing that. Continue to lift weights, and make sure you exercise with high intensity every day, even if it’s only for 30 min. You’ll worry less what she’s up to on days you’ve had a gr…

I don’t like this title man. It’s the opposite of what you want. A lonely childhood might be absolutely necessary. If the good-looking girls you’re attracted to and interesting friends aren’t hanging out with you or valuing you, and you’re bitter about about that, you shouldn’t mope about it. You can develop some wonderful skills in isolation. And you should. My field of expertise is basketball. There are many anecdotal examples of players who were isolated socially when they were young and just…

things to consider doing solo: Reading in a public area (library or coffee shop or bookstore) Exercising in a gym Volunteering time at a hospital, shelter, or with kids (youth coaching, mentor program). Go to a dance club (not a bar - a club, doesn’t matter what the persuasion or clientele is) if you actually like to dance. Run a 5k race or do a walk for a cause that’s important to you (Alzheimer’s, etc) These are individual healthy self-improvement things that naturally build self-confidence an…
