I have yet to say anything about me. Why do you keep bringing it up? But by all means, continue.

Men have no respect for women today, because many women behave in a manner that isn't deserving of respect. Yet they still demand a "high value man" simply because they exist.

Morbidly obese "Mama June" of Honey Boo Boo fame has managed to procreate with three separate men. If she can score, so can you! Seriously though, two things: "There are no ugly women, only lazy ones" - Helena Rubinstein I know plenty of uggos whose husbands treat them like queens - because they are kind, sweet, pleasant to be around, and put their husband's needs above their own. If you're approaching relationships with an attitude of "What's in it for me?" without bringing much more to the tab…

Women LOVE making a big thing of older men having children leading to health issues which from what I’ve seen doesn’t conform to reality. No, it's a cope. The age of the mother has far more bearing on the health of the child than the age of the father. If you have poor sperm quality, the egg is most likely not to be fertilized at all.

How does JD Vance pointing out that too many people in positions of power are childless/child free have anything to do IVF? Anniston is grasping at straws.

Exactly. I wasn't trying to do a mathematical equation, it was simply an illustration. "Settling" should mean, as you put it, "dating down." Dating someone who is roughly equivalent to you in terms of attractiveness is not settling. But these women have been told their entire life that they are amazing in every possible way, so of course they deserve tippy-top 6666 guys.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen27/07/24 01:49 PM
12

They shouldn't settle - they should recalibrate their expectations. Perhaps that is a distinction without a difference, but modern women believe they deserve the total package - when they themselves are anything but. If a 6.5 thinks she deserves a 9, her expectations are way out of whack. "Settling" would mean marrying a 4, not another 6.5. But that's not how they operate.

I know several mixed race couples. In every case, is very evident that their children are mixed. They all have the same AA darker complexion (maybe not as dark as the black parent, but still obviously black), facial features and hair texture. There is not a single instance where one kid is obviously mixed and another looks white. Not saying it can never happen, but it is very rare.

Can you imagine the work a man would have to put to go on 40 dates in a year? I was able to find a wife within 15 first dates. I can only conclude these women’s expectations are way outside the boundaries of reality.

Nothing too dramatic. She just saw every conversation as a battle to be won and was generally unpleasant to be around. Which seems to be the case with every female I've encounterd in the profession. She was physically attractive, but not nearly attractive enough for me to waste another second on.

They’re looking at celebrities like Janet Jackson and Kristen Wiig (who have unlimited funds to throw at the problem) and assume they’ll be able to have children into their late 40s/early 50s too. What they fail to recognize is that it can run into the six figure range if surrogates/embryo adoption/egg donors are involved - which is often the case with these celebrity geriatric pregnancies.

And couldn’t she just get the tattoos removed? Tattoo removal is expensive, painful, and the results are poor at best. You're ultimately trading one scar for another.

Same. I had a friend who was a literal lingerie model in her early 20s (back when that meant you had to be in great shape). I met her roughly 5 years and 80 pounds later. Truly, a shame - we had a lot of shared interests, but I couldn't get past the obesity.

She doesn't have youth or beauty on her side. Mid-30s means children are unlikely unless she already has some in tow. "Not fat" wins over "pretty face" almost every time. And in her mid 30s, the odds of losing and keeping off a significant amount of weight are very small. The only real value she brings to a relationship is her income ($110K in the middle of nowhere is pretty good), so I guess she could be a sugar mama. But this woman wouldn't even be on my radar. Has nothing to do with insecurit…

I have a great career, travel often, have great friendships and fun hobbies No man cares about those things, and can be red flags in some instances. Here's what matters: Do you take care of your appearance? Are you pleasant to be around? Are you not a slut? Everything else is just static. The entire post shows a baffling lack of awareness. Again, ???????? Using the car maintenance as an example... I manage the car maintenance in our household; all I ask is that my wife let me know if the check engine light comes on or it starts smoking or making weird noises. We're both perfectly OK with that. Now, if she says I'm maintaining the cars wrong somehow (I dunno... she prefers semi-synthetic oil over full synthetic or I'm not rotating the tires often enough) and bitchily insists I do it in a way that's acceptable to her - at that point…

3 and 4 in particular is spot on. I worked with one woman in particular who was like a fat, ugly hurricane, always complained about how much harder she worked than everyone else, treated her subordinates like crap, etc. After literally everyone on her team quit, HR started investigating, and it turned out her progress reports were utter fabrications. The day they let her go, I was told to shut down all her accounts (which I did gladly!), then get the hell out of Dodge along with the rest of the …

Yep. My wife and I did IVF when she was 35. Harvested 20+ eggs and fertilized all of them prior to freezing. Only 12 survived the thawing process, and of those 12 only one resulted in a live birth. The fertility industry has a vested interest in making it sound like a slam dunk solution, but in reality its nowhere near the sure thing they portray it as.

Not being attracted to someone is a VALID reason not to date someone. On the surface, yes, that's correct. The problem is too many women's "what I find attractive" gauges are completely out of whack due to the illusion of infinite choice thanks to the internet; and because guys objectively out of their league have used these women as slump-busting masturbatory aides in the past.
