Don’t hit your kids you fucking mongloid. If this is a joke, it’s in poor taste.

You've got it the wrong way. He believes these things because he's depressed. He isn't depressed because he believes these things, although those thoughts will worsen his depression. There are a ton of resources out there on depression. I've only read about helping yourself so I can't recommend anything geared towards helping someone else. Ultimately, he has to take responsibility for his own feelings and thoughts. But you can probably help him get there.

There's a difference between saying "I'm sad" and bawling your eyes out while you cling to another person. Share you emotions with people. It will bring you much joy when shared in the right way with the right people at the right time. Sometimes sharing comes through body language - you don't have to tell people you're happy just smile. Just don't be a whiny little bitch whose emotions run the show. Be a grown man who knows himself and doesn't hide it.

NA and AA are not great. Their success rates are really low. The programs are practically worthless.

Put in the work you lazy fuck. Instead of coming here bitching about how things aren't going your way, analyze your behavior, figure out what you're doing wrong and fix it. Go read a fucking book or two instead of whining on the internet.

Graduating won't change a thing. Your mother is manipulative and controlling. She is a toxic person. Google the term "toxic parents" and do some reading.

Self improvement doesn't necessarily mean a traditional education. Also, not everyone has the same opportunities or abilities. Don't be an ignorant fuck.

Pick your stories wisely. Every one of them has a message. Some of those messages are useful. Most of them are not. Be discerning. Pick a book/movie/play/album for a specific reason and then spend time formulating a real opinion on it. Dissect it. Study it. Don't consume blindly like every other asshat on this planet.

unfavorable behavior The silent treatment isn't unfavorable behavior. It's unacceptable behavior. It's one thing to say, "I'm really angry and can't talk right now," but the silent treatment is nothing but manipulations galore. The only way to deal with it is to stop accepting it. COLD STONE SILENCE is the only proper response to someone who is trying to manipulate you through the withdrawal of affection. Basically, you just show that you're tougher than she is. She can last three days in silenc…

If you don't understand the joke, you're more than welcome to ask for an explanation. Instead of communicating and opening a dialogue, you burst in with your assumptions and flail about vomiting your emotions, opinions, and insults all over the place. Interesting that you call me the jackass...

A person can't help their gender I don't think you've been paying attention to modern identity politics. I didn't like the gender that society forced me to adopt, so I now identify as a cisgender-transnormative-hegemonic-manbearpig-intersectional-black-dildo.

You already know what you should do: nothing. Now, start asking yourself the next questions: How can you take this lesson and apply it to other aspects of your life? How many times has someone pushed you (physically, emotionally, literally, figuratively) and you've let it affect you? How can you be the one who remains calm while everyone else is losing their shit? Lastly, cut yourself some slack my man. Some drunk-ass tried to initiate an altercation and you didn't engage or catch a beating. Goo…

First, if you're seriously considering suicide, please talk to someone who isn't some douchebag ranting on the internet. If you're in America, start with the national suicide hotline if you've got nowhere else to go: 1 (800) 273-8255 Now that's out of the way so let's dig in... What the fuck dude? Happiness? Happiness? REALLY? Do you seriously believe that everyone but you has a life that is some peachy fantastically romantic story where everything is always fucking perfect? Are you five? Grow t…

It's called discipline, son. Motivation is myth. Any successful person can tell you that they didn't wait to FEEL like doing something, they just did it over and over and over and over... It's important to recognize real burnout - usually the result of YEARS of effort on something for which you have no passion. You're not experiencing burnout. You've convinced yourself you need to feel a certain way before you can accomplish your goals. You're just waiting to WANT to do something. That's never g…
