Maybe after you get a sense of whether you trust her with such information. If you're dating, maybe start with smaller vulnerabilities and see how she reacts? IMO that's all part of building trust. If she belittles you at any point, move on. Love is about acceptance. Context is important though. When to reveal these things can be tricky. I wouldn't believe it. But consider the source: Most articles like that are written by freelancers just cobbling nonsense together. At best, take it as someone's transmittal of anecdotes they've collected and maybe once in a while you'll read something that makes you go "huh." The plural of anecdotes of not data, which is what most of these articles are based on - unless of course it's in a neuroscience journal, backed up with studies.

Take or finds.ething you enjoy doing and find a way to describe it that makes it sound interesting: what do you love about it? What do you learn about life or yourself when you engage in that activity? How did you get into it? Create answers that reveal a bit about yourself and give the person something to ask about so they can get to know you. Then ask that person what they're interested in and passionate about (or just what they like to do when they jave a few extra minutes).

A bit of small talk helps to find common ground. I'm an extreme introvert and hate small talk. But if I want to know more about someone, I have to ask questions...be sincere, be warm with a friendly, not over-the-top smile. If she accepts your compliment graciously, linger and ask another question to dig for a deeper topic you can both weigh in on.
