In my experience, being American doesn't matter too much. Around Europe, they have an idea of a typical ugly American, but if they see you make any sort of an effort to leave your comfort zone and experience local culture, they will assume you are one of the good one. Around China, Japan, and Korea, American guys tend to do well because being seen with a white guy is almost a status symbol there. (Ironically its the opposite for Asian men/white women relationships). Southeast Asia is trickier si…

Talk to the guys before hand. Tell them you are struggling meeting girls and unless they are total jerks they will help you. They will compliment you in front of the girls and shift the conversation to you sometimes. They don't need to literally introduce you to girls, just ask them to include you in the conversation.

Start doing nice things for your parents. Like get them a gift certificate to their favorite restaurants or tickets to a show. Anything that might get them out of the house for the night, but on your time. But also, that's a short term solution. I see the value in living with your parents and don't judge anyone in their 20s who do. It's cheaper and easier. But that does come with trade-offs. And there are other benefits to moving out besides just a place to bring a date. Seriously consider if th…

As a person who sees a lot of movies and goes to the cinema around 2 or 3 times a week (pre-covid), you'd think movies are my go to date spot. Actually no. In my opinion movies are terrible places to take a new dates. Its fine for couples who have an established relationship but not for someone you are just getting to know. The main reason is that its 2 hours of sitting in silence not looking at each other. You arent getting to know each other and you arent establishing a connection by looking a…

I recently started Tinder again for the first time in years. In the first week I got about a dozen matches. All are either bots or some other scam. I deleted it again. Online dating sounds like a good thing if you are serious about meeting someone new and willing to put the effort into it. But for casual dating or just trying to expand your social circle, its too overly saturate with crap to be worth it IMO.

Garden State has gotten me laid more than once. The most I ever got out of Call Me By Your Name is a surprisingly sensual experience with a peach. Still a great movie though

This was me once, but instead of stepping to the highest step, I tripped and somehow landed on the highest step and had no idea how I did that. I then cheered, tripped again and fell back to where I started

She is doing exactly what im doing. We are equal. If i want to get more serious, then we would have a talk about where we are in thr conversation. Until then, she doesnt have to explain herself to me what she does when im not around.

I find that asian countries also have more scam and spam profiles than western ones. But yeah, i did have more luck overall. If youre a tall blonde white guy in china and some other parts of asia, girls will run up to you and just give you their number. Ive seen it happen multiple times to my friend. Im not as tall and had shaggy brown hair so of the two of us, i was the less desirable one, but i still had plenty of luck around china.

Exactly Sometimes you don't even know what you did right that results in sex.

i would say the first few times i had sex, each felt like a fluke, that it was mostly luck that got me there. It takes awhile for you to notice patterns about what you did to get there

Rock climbing works for me. It's a great physical workout and there are a surprising number of girls in the sport.

I have the same problem. I think it's a self loathing thing. I don't believe I deserve to be happy so I actively search for girls I know will reject me to justify the feelings i have for myself. The last few girls I've lost sleep over have all rejected me. I don't have a problem finding girls to date or even sleep with but there's no strong emotion on my side. A few girls have even told me they like me and I've had to let them down. But the ones I like are all unavailable or not interested.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
