| 0 | She was eating alone at a restaurant...I get part of your point, but I think you can't blame someone for trying to start a conversation sometimes. Not wanting to communicate can be shown in many, subtle ways, like not making full eye contact, looking at your book/phone/tea and socially calibrated people will usually pick up on these clues and head off (that is, if being direct is too difficult for you).
