I'm all for equality and not letting men fall through the cracks as it were, but this seems like a petty article/title/topic to split hairs over and cry for justice. At what point does this movement or discussion thread become a cringfest joke? Most posts in this subreddit just make me embarrassed. "Our" goal shouldn't be to get more sympathy points vs the other biological gender - missing the forest for the trees - imo.

I didn't say they faced more or less, I'm just saying that suffering doesn't give a shit about gender and this isn't some victim competition.

While not fighting in most combat, women (and children) have faced rape, slavery, and murder in warzones/sieges/violence for just as long. Women were thought of as property with a pulse up until pretty recently (and in some remote places still are). I see your point though - I just think both biological sexes have had it pretty awful, but maybe from different angles (some of them overlapping).
