12	The Dunning-Kruger Effect "Yeah, team!" Bullshit. Liberals == Conservatives. Both overwhelming close-minded. The only difference is the spring in the steel trap. Conservatives it comes from fear of the anything outside their sphere of experience; Liberals it comes from being too chicken-shit to deal with the concept of risk/reward. While I don't disagree with the idea behind what he is saying, rhetoric is important and the use of this particular word is, in my opinion, detrimental to communication of the idea. "Cursing" gives the audience an easy out by, for most people, reducing the speaker's credibility. Don't let them off the hook. 2	I haven't had my own group of "boys" (friend circle of guys that I'm close to, not kids) since early high school...any advice? IMO, rock climbing would be a really great way to solve your problem. I'm a bit of a lone wolf and move around/travel a bit to boot. It gets harder and harder to have a "crew" as you get older. My advice to you: get a hobby/passion (or two), seek out other guys who are into the same thing, and then make a conscious effort to reach out to them (text, phone, "What are you up to this weekend?") 2	Has anyone given up Facebook? Yes. Killed it while traveling abroad, re-instated it due to family requests (How will we know you are alive?), killed it again upon return to States.
