Wow, what a way to look at the world. The cartels are not only criminal organisations. In a country where large geographical parts are in absolute poverty, being a part of the cartel business is in many ways a very gray area and inevitable part of life. To label cartel members as "combatants" is a grose misrepresentation of the real world situation for the many poor and desperate people living in Latin America.

Her engagement ring is a 100 year old family heirloom with worthless rocks, cost me nothing. Our pure silver wedding rings were bought at a jeweler friends shop for 30 USD in total. We are actually quite wealthy for the aree we live in, making more than ten times what I assumeto be the average. We are however in complete agreement that spending lots of money on stuff like that is just plain silly. I love my wife, hah.
