Is it like that episode of Seinfeld where George had that picture of the model, but used his engagement story about Susan, and because the picture made it seem like he was capable of being with someone beautiful, it pre-validated him with other beautiful women? The girls are trying to pull a Costanza.

Its only desperate if you put a lot of faith into it or care whether or not it happens. Throw it out there and move onto whoever is next, if it happens, it happens, if not, you've already got something else lined up with someone else.

I really like her but she has a boyfriend. I would never make a explicit move. Ops words. doesn't sound like he is just trying to get laid here. Otherwise he would have already tried.

If they cheat with you, they will cheat on you?

You're right that's it's not a big deal to be rejected, but you're working too hard to convince yourself of this.

If you were a book, it would mean that most people would give up and go find something more enjoyable.... But you're not a book, so I don't know what it means.

Wouldn't the idea behind getting a coffee be to get to know her better?

If you want to go out for coffee, why would not asking her out for coffee be better? Her declining is only weird if you make it weird.

I go through this, and sometimes it seems like- the lack of desire to socialize isn't necessarily coming entirely from me. Like you say- it feels mentally draining to socialize with people, and I feel the same way. Until I don't. I suspect part of the reason is the people themselves. When I find people I want to be around and socialize with, the mental exhaustion from even just thinking about hanging out with them goes away. Because they are not hard to be around. So maybe, in your case it will …

It's easy to believe that the vast nameless masses that you know nothing about, are mindless zombies, following and never thinking. You see people wearing a certain fashion and assume they put no thought into their lives, make no decisions, and just follow. It makes it easier to not consider them as fully formed individuals, that live full lives of interactions and experiences that you have no way of knowing. Those assumptions you make are wrong. You have formed these boxes in your mind, and pla…

I'd also be hesitant to say 'babe' it seems so 90's. But if you're rocking reflective sunglasses and blonde tips go for it.

Try dance lessons, or some other mixed gender hobby. Rock climbing maybe? Find an activity you want to learn that has classes, and start doing that. You might meet someone, and if not, at least you got to have fun not meeting someone.

You're not even trying to sleep with me and I am finding you overbearing and pushy. Perhaps you just need to find the right intensity level? If you go out this strong, try toning it down and leveraging your awesome to make yourself enjoyable to be around instead of domineering?

I find it kind of funny that you're okay with blatantly lying to trick women into going out with you- and out of all the possibilities, that's the lie you're going with...

there are many kinds - with differing price tags. You may or may not get better results by paying more for it.

Maybe? But this guy says he doesn't really have many friends and never had a relationship- that's not because he is a virgin. Plenty of people have loads of friends, have relationships with the opposite sex, and are happy with their trajectory in life, while also being a virgin. This guy getting laid will not fix his issues.

I think this is important for you to acknowledge. The lack of meaningful relationships (and by extension having sex) with others is not the cause of your depression and anxiety. Its a symptom

and I was actually trying to help. If you cant understand how your appearance can influence how people react, you have a long way to go. I was using exaggerated examples- but if you dress and act in ways that are intimidating, don't expect people to 'work hard' to see the real you. Its not worth anyones time, when other people don't have those barriers in place.

anything about your appearance that might fit stereotypes that people have? like, maybe a face tattoo that says 'serial killa' or a Shaved head and a swastika armband? a chain running from your eyebrow piercing, to your lip, to your nipple? I mean, as much as we shouldn't judge people by appearance, sometimes there are things we are doing/wearing that gives the wrong impression about who we are.

That's just sad. I'm all for interracial couples. But what you are doing is fetishising, not having an open mind to love.

Depends on your view of average fitness? If you work around morbidly obese people that don't walk anywhere that doesn't lead directly to food, above average might be 'I can physically walk up 10 stairs without stopping' I'm thinking that's not what op meant, and he probably meant it the way you described.. Just throwing this out there...

I thought small talk was inherently void of emotional content... isn't that the point? Its small, has no real meaning or content?

Some people are into that. Everyone chooses their own level of involvement and comfort level with risk vs reward. Some people have a sliding scale of morality, and everyones life is unique in the details. What seems wrong from one perspective, may seem completely understandable from another. I'd probably turn him down, Im not interested in hooking up with a married man myself. Not really that interested in hooking up with men at all, but, I reckon I'd be less likely to entertain the thought if h…

The problem isn't your attractiveness- once you are outside the realm of butt-ugly-unattractive-hideously-sickening-to-look-at, it ceases to be such a big factor... Unless you want women to throw themselves at you without any effort. Otherwise the only thing stopping your success, is you, your lack of confidence, and your obsession with appearance.

just make sure to write it where the name becomes interchangeable with other names, and you can reuse it on the next girl.

Im not sure how her saying directly to you that she hates you, means that she obviously doesn't hate you? Your logic doesn't make sense. 'This girl says she wants to eat icecream, obviously they don't want to eat icecream. So what does she mean by saying she wants to eat icecream?' really?

There's no way to benefit from what you have learned here, but not do it in such a way that the person you are closest to in the world finds you no longer pleasant to be around? I dunno, if its causing this kind of rift in the relationship you have described, maybe you're not changing for the better. But there is very little context, and I know nothing about either of you, so this advice is more than likely way off the mark.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
