Flip side: If he sticks around long enough and learns to live with his feelings of inadequacy, he can also learn quite some tricks and cross off some points of his bucket list. Unless he wants to explore the avenues sex has to offer with a woman equally inexperienced (which is a valid mindset), doing it with his now-GF is actually a great opportunity for him.
