My partner and I did exactly this. They paid for their drink, I paid for mine, we wandered all around our city of choice . You can always call it a day, and always keep walking, so its always the perfect date length. We've been together over 3 years now.

I mean, she did say misandry isnt a thing, implying that misogyny is. So she was kinda saying "this is fine cus its against men" which isn't really so different, since she's still implying that she thinks she'll get away with it because of the gender difference. I suppose I'm comparing it to half the shit that comes through this sub where it's just a woman getting treated poorly.

Had a partner that kept trying to emotionally manipulate me. Didn't really work, he seemed to grow out of it. 5 years later and he started trying again, but much worse. Lying, being aggressive, secretive, then blamed me for my distance and said he wanted to break up. I took him up on his offer and it turns out he was bluffing. Tldr: manipulation, lying, hyperaggression

Depends on how formal. If you sit there and let them bareate you for hours on end, yeah probably and that isnt healthy for you. In saying that, if they say they arent happy and you try and negotiate, thats also pretty stupid. But a check-up doesnt need to be some big formal thing. It can just be as simple as asking "If you could change one thing about this relationship, what would it be? See for me it would be X, Y, Z". Relationships by definition need another person, and if you ignore what they…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
