This post actually makes the most sense yet of what I've read. You are absolutely right on the money with the issue of not having enough flexibility. We should go back to living on one income (could also be two part time jobs). I wish I had a real choice to live by traditional gender roles but the prices are out of whack, and its only gotten worse not better.

That is very true. I for one am tired of it. I live in Scandinavia, where any masculine male has to be eradicated from its surface it seems

Honestly I don't mind, we have sex whenever my husband wants (unless I'm busy with childcare etc of course) already anyway lol Yes men and women are different, I agree. Biology does exist, it does effect us. So I don't think true equality, the way modern society defines it (equality of outcome) will ever happen. Women need pregnancy leave if they are to be in the work force for instance, is that not women being treated because of Biology? Now while that might seem a perk women with children tend…

So the government is in fact not staying out of it completely? That was the part I found unrealistic

Well mens suffering still does not matter to society it seems, sorry to break it to you. Ita just now it seems you have no real advantages either. Masculinity is seen as toxic (unless women act masculine I suppose). I don't think most feminists necessarily believed all women were angels, but not having any real way of leaving an abusive relationship is very serious. Even if most relationahips weren't abusive. I think mens worse to top scenario might look even worse today honestly. I don't think …

How was it unfavorable for men in your opinion? I'm not saying it was all bad for women but not being able to leave an abusive relationship was a bad part. But in most marriages I would think it wasnt bad for women to live this way, might have been more simple in a lot of ways. I'm just not seeing how men were disposable, women literally depended on men? They couldn't just leave at any whim. But good point in the draft , someone would have to stay with the children though, in the case of those w…

That sounds a bit unrealistic. What about who gets custody of children? Child support etc . Or how to divide assets?

Because it would be unfair for women who are far more I'll equipped? And you can't leave children alone either.

Research shows otherwise bud, and if we all go together who should watch the children. Should they fend for themselves? Makes fairly little sense to send the weakest party out to fight. it's also unfair on the women who wouldn't be as equipped to take care of themselves. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/military/sdut-marines-women-in-combat-task-force-results-2015sep10-htmlstory.html https://www.npr.org/2015/09/10/439246978/marine-corps-release-results-of-study-on-women-in-combat-units

You are saying inequalities caused by biology can stay yet women should be drafted? Women are not fit for any sort of combat, the research shows that combat units with females do worse. Women can't meet the physical standards. But there should be something done to the alimony system. If the woman was not a homemaker alimony simply doesn't make sense. Also there should be some caveats maybe, should a woman that cheats and leaves a man get alimony? Probably not

But how? Women should not be drafted , men cannot carry pregnancies. Should men and women do 50/50 childcare? What if you're breastfeeding, how does that work exactly? If a country descends into war should we send both men and women to war, who should stay home with the children if so? And what of the workplace , how can a woman provide equal work to a man when she takes leave for pregnancy etc.? I don't know. I feel maybe we should return more to traditional gender roles, but men can't be left …

Sort of how I interpret it as well, and I say this as a woman. It seems women have less guilt and therefore feel better about cheating. Probably because they have been told by friends and family (and society as a whole) she deserves better etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
