Theres really no limit to how many layers you can put on, but you only get so naked.

I just don't see how this post has anything to do with the rights of men specifically. It's just a cheap, tired joke about virtue signaling. I'd be disappointed if this is the direction the MRA sub is headed. While I identify as an egalitarian, my principles hold me along the lines of both mens rights and feminism. Don't get me wrong, I love a good sjw cringe meme, but there's a place for everything. For example, I'd have similar concerns if someone posted a cat hating text post in a dog pic sub…

There is a wrong way to do just about everything, activism included. I've said it once and I'll say it again: mens rights activism is not antifeminism.

I see where you're coming from, and I agree. Feminism in its infancy was intended to fight oppression against womankind. Today we've both romanticized its unrealized potential as well as caricatured it as the SJW circus we've become so familiar with. I believe that if I were to take random sampling of viewpoints belonging to self proclaimed feminists, the ratio of radical statements and claims to rational ones would be substantially less than hecklers would lead us to believe. However, I suppose…

Mens rights ≠ antifeminism. I really don't feel like this belongs here.

the point they're trying to make is that women are more likely to get loans to pay for college as opposed to scholarships or out of pocket. TBH this doesn't mean much of anything and is therefore just yet another attempt to get a reaction using pointless stats like 99% of womenist media.

Im curious, were there any rapes reported this year that actually occurred in '14? And if so, would that data be relevant enough to be compiled into this statistic? I'm not sure on the statute of limitations on rape, unfortunately.

Valid point. It sucks that we're not at a point in our human society that we can disdain from hate as a concept. It seems that we still have to put a face to it, as hitler was to the genocide that was the nazi's movement, straight men (and to an extent straight, WHITE men) have been recognized by a majority as the faces of hate. But I still have faith that we're reaching that age where we can show truly gender neutral characters in a TV show (e.g. BeeMo of Adventure Time) and can have true equal…

It's my opinion that they're justified for their response of no, just not of the reason behind it. That specific subreddit is for acceptance and equality for those of varying sexualities despite their physical genitalia. If heterophobia was more prevalent it would be included in their mission statement I'm sure. But men's right's is right where it belongs. Still, it was a shitty thing to say that misandry is fake. Second wave feminists and their matriarchy get on my nerves. >:(
