This is great advice. Adapting to how your husband does things (hey, ay least he’s doing things!) instead of micro managing.

Yeah, during my labor there was some scary moments and I remember asking my husband “how are you doing? Are you ok?” And my mom was surprised I was asking about him during my labor. But there were real concerns with babes heartbeat and it was scary, why wouldn’t I ask? Idk, in my single experience it wasn’t terrible and women can still be kind to their SOs if they’re there trying to be supportive.

So when my husband was in a toxic work environment, I made it clear I would support him if he wanted to quit. We have always been very frugal and could live off my income, but knowing my husband he wouldn’t have acted on that anyway, but it was something I think he needed to hear. It wasn’t just “I’ll support you financially” but, I told him I trusted his decisions, and if he wanted to l quit I knew that would be the right choice. He ended up finding a new job a couple months later and not quitt…

I’ll just tell you this story: Early in my marriage, I knew how much my husband loved me, and i wouldn’t have phrased it this way at the time but I took his love for granted. I was demanding, emotionally immature, naggy, etc. One day my parents were visiting and me and husband got in an argument about the new dog. He wanted to introduce dog one way and I thought he was doing it wrong, and after verbal exchanges, ended up shouting at him and publicly criticizing him. He got quiet and upset and th…

Really encouraging. This weekend me and my husband spent it "relaxing" at the lake cabin, but to him that meant kayaking twice a day, we went out 4 times! Now, I didn't want to honestly, but I wanted to spend time with him and he loves going in the early AM and at dusk, so he asked me to go each time and I could have said no, but choosing to enjoy that time with him was really special. I gained more being out in the water with him for an hour than I would have reading a book or playing on the ph…

I've noticed I have way more fine lines in the morning, but it's because I'm dehydrated. So I drink a glass of water in the morning and that helps. One of the important things for fine lines is to drink lots of water

I hate to judge other relationships, but this is my BiL/SIL. They way they talk to each other and about each other is terrible.

I completely agree with your last sentence. I think it would confuse me with my role as a Gf, then fiancé, then wife if we were living together. Not that the feelings or love are changed, but the level of commitment certainly does. I wouldn't compromise what you feel strange. Especially for your relationship. Personally, I didn't move to the same city as my Bf (now husband) at the time of our long distance relationship even though it would have been fairly easy. I felt that would have put more p…

Mom stayed home with us kids and dad worked. Very traditional upbringing and I noticed the difference with how my parents raised us when my younger brother was born. I was always taught to cook and clean and my bro never had to help in the home at all! haha, but he did help dad with the "man" stuff, heavy lifting, yard work, house repair, etc. in fact, I still don't do any yard work but my husband is happy to do it for me. I like this topic, me and my husband talk about how we want to raise our …

It's so trashy - can't look away! I watch it, it's a guilty pleasure, but only catch up on my lunch break so I keep it separate from my relationship and time with hubs. He knows though and always teases me when a commercial is on -.-

Yup! Same here. I just think, if it bothers me so much, i should just pick them up myself. It helps we have separate closets so he can leave his how he likes. I mostly pick up clothes that makes its way to the common area.

I really, really, really don't think Jimmy Fallon is funny. Like, is the joke he's not funny or something?? I don't get it!

Drinking carbonated water really helped curb my soda addiction. La Croix grapefruit is my go-to. Good luck!

I'm pretty new here, but I know I've seen it in the sub several times that a true Alpha-RP male wouldn't be the best fit for a LTR. You want a mix of beta and alpha qualities. So I get where you're coming from saying it's "abuse", I wouldn't want a true Alpha either with the way some of the RP guys talk.

People having problems with this song, esp. women, just shows me they don't understand subtlety in seduction/flirting. Of course she wants to stay! LOL to those that think she is really debating leaving...🙄

I've never done one of these before, but in the interest of being more active... GOOD: my in-laws stayed for a night and after they left my husband said I was a great hostess. I was really touched by that, hospitality is one of those things I believe fall on the wife and I wanted my husband to just enjoy time with his parents :) BAD: gym nagging I guess? We go together and I have a structured program I follow. Since "I know better" I've been giving "helpful" advice to my husband at the gym. He d…

We did too, waited till marriage and it was about a year and a half (can't measure in dates). And very clearly defined dates in the early stages, high-quality men are out there.

Turkey chili - ground turkey, miscellaneous veggies, black beans, some picante sauce mixed in over rice. He loves it and makes easy lunch leftovers for work. It also cleans out the veggies from the week :)

I'm new to red pill, just reading some posts but the "reign in" aspect of your relationship really hits home with me for some reason. It's something my husband has done to me that I fought at first. I wonder if her husband has tried before and just gave up.
