Move on dude. It’s part of her job to answer questions and be nice. Most librarians are lovely to talk to. If she didn’t even grant you that, then she must have sensed something and she’s taken. Nah.. we don’t have to “be aggressive and try harder”. 95% of the time, when its clear that there is no interest, there isn’t. It simply isn’t worth being a nuisance and making someone feel uncomfortable. Stop propagating this “you’ll get it if you try hard enough” mentality. Listen to the signals and be respectful.
