1	Feminist: only feminism can effectively advocate for men's issues because "the lacking of a theoretical background disqualifies the men's rights activism from making serious claims about sexism." Lol! I don't get all the hate for this woman. People here regularly say feminists hate and are out to enslave all men. She is trying to publicize and do something about actual men's rights issues. 1	Question about consent and signs This is a prime example of why this movement is treated with disdain. You are doing a disservice to legitimate men's issues by treating rape so flippantly. People should take a cue from that top republican and just stop talking about rape as anything but a sick and horrible crime. Anyway my point was that all the people who came on here cooking up scenarios where it would be ok to hit a woman reflect really poorly on the movement as a whole. Thinking up all these scenarios where you would be justified in hitting a woman just makes you look bad. 1	Is this a true statistic? Can someone help me understand? You seriously don't want women anywhere near you? I really pity you. False rape accusations are a terrible thing, but I can't see any sane person cutting off all contact with women because of it. If a woman came on here and said that she didn't want any contact with men for fear of being raped, she'd be torn to shreds on here. 4	Men have no say in the case of abortion because "life is unfair" So what are you saying? That a man should be able to force a woman to have an abortion? Or that a man should not be required to provide for his child if he wanted it to be aborted? I don't really get the argument. Mothers and fathers should both be required to provide for their children equally. If a woman wants to have an abortion, it is her body and her choice alone. You cant argue with simple biology. I thought that they couldn't really be that ridiculous so I decided to check it out for myself. So do people here really deny the fact that misogyny exists? 5	Why is the men's rights movement treated like a joke? I appreciate the intelligent response. But is defeating feminism really a central goal of the movement? Or is it just a means to an end? I see the flame wars as preaching to the choir, not converting anyone who may be on the fence.
