Whether or not they feel attractive or secure has nothing to do with what they're used to. If they're used to guys chasing them, then they'll react to disqualification.

Yes... girls want guys with brains, but your idea of "intelligent" conversations probably aren't what they want to engage in. Women prefer men with social intelligence and passion far more. Having intellectual curiosity, strong, well-thought-out opinions and calm confidence in them with the ability to wittily defend them when directly challenged is what you want to aim for. And you won't often have to demonstrate that. Quality women recognize it pretty quickly. When you talk to someone, not just…

If I can tell that someone's just following some mental script, I like to throw in random phrases. e.g. "How are you" "Popsicle sticks" sometimes I have to follow it up with "Just seeing if you were paying attention."

You are way over-thinking this. I do this all the time and it almost always leads to a more comfortable conversation. It makes people feel like you're taking an interest in them.

I would have provided one if I could... It was in some magazine or another in a waiting room. I really have no clue where to start looking.

A couple weeks ago I read an interview with Stephen Colbert (the real one, not the character he portrays) where he said the fundamental rule of improve is that you never say "no." You either say "yes" or "yes and..." Even in a short time this has had a profound impact on how I handle shit-tests and AMOGS.

I have a friend with cerebral palsy... He sometimes uses the line "If you go to bed with me, I'l screw you so hard you'll walk like me." More often than not it works. He so completely owns the situation that it doesn't matter... in fact his owning of it becomes an asset. It becomes a strange sort of peacocking. Own your inner gimp.

Look everyone you come across that day directly in the eye and try to figure out what your gut is telling you about them. It's actually something you can train. Do it with the people in magazines and on TV too.

It makes you mentally process what happened, determine what you want to carry forward from the night and cements it into your memory.

Every morning I spend a little bit of time in the "victory" pose... arms flung out, head back and chest high. It looks like a Y. Anyways... A long time ago I realized that doing this made me happier and more confident. It's nice to know that I'm not just loony.

Yeah, but the candy you get afterwords is oh-so amazingly tasty.

"Okay I got nothing, I just wanted to come over and talk to you because I thought you were cute and wanted to see if you had the personality to back it your looks." and variants has worked for me especially for day game and social circle game.

Go into the elevator, push the button for your floor and, rather than finding an empty spot and turning around to face the door as is expected, continue to face all the passengers. Then open with some variation of this: "Have you ever noticed that there are certain rules to riding in an elevator. I mean, I'm breaking at least two right now because I didn't turn around and I'm talking to people I don't know. Who made up these rules anyways? What happens if you break them? I like breaking rules, s…

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow' What a ride!" There's a great many variations, but that's my favorite... google "life journey what a ride" and you'll get plenty of links. Use this one loudly at a bar and you'll get a cheer from several of the people around you. It'll open half the bar for you and builds mad social status w…

We may not always get what we want, as long as we don't get what we deserve!
