What are your thoughts on long term monogamous relationships? Have you been in that situation before?

This is strange, I have success doing the opposite recently. Maintaining eye contact has never been a problem for me, in fact I probably did it too much. (some fuck from the city once confronted me about it) Recently, I've been walking around like my shit don't stink. I refuse to make eye contact and instead just enjoy being outside in the city. When I do make eye contact with somebody it's intentional, ad I acknowledge them. Wither it be a man who I am thanking for letting me cross the street, …

You are not living in the moment and you where not living in the moment. If you where, you would have enjoyed the time with her rather than push her away due to knowing it was ending. If you where living in the moment now, you would make the best of your current situation and squeeze all the joy and prosperity you can out of your career.

Great post. Also - dogs rock.

Well said. If being "shut down" and having "an awkward conversation" are how you expect most social interactions to unfold, you have problems beyond the venue you choose.

Treat the girls you aren't attracted to like you would treat one of your male friends. that's not going to help them be less attracted to you

Crawl back to 4chan dergut. Your idiocy is on display here. Respond to this and dig yourself deeper.

I picture you as a meek person grasping for self worth by projecting your insecurities on others. Don't respond if you agree, otherwise please retort with something confrontational as I'm sure you will.

If you want to do well on OKC, all you really need to do is have attractive photos of yourself and not come off as creepy. Easier said than done. I'm not down with denying people help just because i'm already competent. Do you really believe that there are "introverted and anxious" beautiful women out there who believe starting OKcupid profiles is the solution to their shyness? I'm sorry, but that's not an argument I can validate. It's not an argument, it's a point. Are you saying there are none…

Perhaps we are too different, but I don't bend my opinions to cater to a woman's interests.

I disagree with most of your post. Against your first point, that it's a cake walk where anyone with a keyboard can get a piece: http://www.reddit.com/tb/hyh8l Why would an HB8,9, or 10 look for men online Because women can be introverted and anxious in person just like men. Let people attract companions wherever they please. Should they need help this is a perfectly fine place to seek it. The last things this place needs is more fragmentation. Let's keep is busy here.

The alpha member of a group can behave in a variety of ways. The vicious hunter or the savvy scavenger. The tattooed tough guy or the mysterious musician.

"ah I love camping, I haven't been in years" is how i'd respond. it would start a conversation if she was getting a good casual vibe from the sudden interaction. however it sounds like she wasn't getting a good vibe for any number of reasons

I love this. I saw this thread when you first made it and thought you'd taken less from the experience than you should have. Now that you've had time to reflect and sober up, are proud of your efforts that shitty night.?

not really higschool related but it is something I wish I had figured out before. *be intentional * do what you intent to do without wavering. intend to hug a girl? FUCKING DO IT - you waver and you'll find yourself hover-handing the outside world will see this as confidence and eventually you will gain that mentality

Well yes when I'm engaging in conversation. I do like to talk to random people in public, but when I'm just walking - I'm just walking.

(which I'm sure many of us have trained to avoid this type of eye contact if you live in a large city) That's an interesting factor. I come from a very small town. I never really thought much about eye contact until some asshole in the city I moved to confronted me "WHY YOU MAKING EYE CONTACT KID" because I do with everybody asshole.

Anybody else experience a lot of eye contact battles? I am friends with 3 very confident women and they are always challenging me to what ends up feeling like a starting contest. I want to maintain alpha status in the group so I don't concede. Is that what's going on here? Is that the right reaction? This also happens with co-workers, seems like it might be different there, but I still don't let up :).
/r/seduction16/04/11 03:19 PM

You're stuck in a negative mentality. Avoiding eye contact is not sad/suspicious/terrified, if you're not sad/suspicious/terrified. Consider your eye contact a commodity. I like to withhold it from people on the street sometimes. I walk around trying to picture the environment as if no other humans where there. Enjoying my surroundings and focusing on my own enjoyment of them. I read this somewhere; Pay less attention to women walking down the street, and you'll start to notice them paying more …

This is so true for every aspect of my life. It's easy to chill and make excuses, but once I'm out there (wherever) i'm glad I pushed pass the lazy-threshold.

Haha yes, well said. I may only be interested in sex from the women, but I certainly benefit from the whole group's interest.

First off let's not deny the fact that we all want to "get into hot girl's panties", that's not a bad thing. Second we aren't gonna fool ourselves into believing we are a subreddit to help women. We are a subreddit that helps men act on their desires within the bounds of society. You have to play the game the way it has evolved in order to get to the goal (yes there is one). The side effects of that are self improvement and better interactions with women (which may or may not improve their lives…

Spread the scenery out a bit, make it feel like you've been on a bunch of mini-dates. Grab some food and kick it in the park eating, sit out front of a coffee shop with the dogs, that sort of thing. It'll keep things interesting and make it feel like you've grown close doing a lot together in just one day.
/r/seduction25/03/11 03:45 PM

I'd say you're both looking at this the wrong way. I do things I enjoy because I enjoy them, not because they might be perceived as "alpha" or "nerdy."
