Oh yeah you definitely have to take franchise and budget into consideration. Star wars succeeding doesn't show that there is a direct demand for female lead movies, just that it isn't a deal breaker for the audience. Similarly had Star Wars had a male lead it would have been just as unfair to count it as a male lead movie, since it's a disney/SW movie so it will be huge no matter what.

I don't know what the specifics for this number is, but what would drive the size of a wage gap up would actually be making it easier for women to get hired as phd students. PhD students are lowly paid, so if it's easier for women to be accepted for PhD's then the number makes women look oppressed even though, they are being given an advantage.

Yeah, using alcohol to rape a minor is pretty fucking bad. But minors drinking really isn't that bad. Look how many Americans get fucked up because their first time drinking is far away from their parents or they fear going to adults for help. My first time getting drunk was at my 9th grade graduation and I got super wasted.
