Hey I'm in an almost exact situation. A Fwb got in a relationship as I started catching feelings (the thing is I was the one originally who didn't want to do a relationship). Few things: You're going to have some people on here tell you catching feelings is weak or whatever. It happens, you're human. Meet other women Remind yourself why you didn't want to date her. You said she's not relationship material. She lives 2 hours away. Sometimes I find if a girl I wasn't originally interested in sudde…

This... This is definitely not true. In fact I'd argue the majority of women are looking for a relationship (although it depends on your age I guess).

Better if you make it ask for 100 numbers. You want to be outcome independent and only focus on what you can control

Appreciate the response. What pain do you refer to? There's no ill will between us at all so not sure why things would be soiled.

I thought it was better to show than tell and it seems awkward to do now. But I might try when things settle down for her. appreciated

Do you have her info? Just message her through that then

I'm not in love or anything, I just would be open to try dating. I'm just not sure how to get to that point again.

Who gives a shit just say "hey I'd like to meet your friend now"you're worrying way too much.
/r/seduction11/02/19 04:45 PM

That's my worry. I mean we've already hooked up in the past, and the stuff she's going through is pretty traumatic. I just don't know if I should cool the support but she hasn't really told many others. On one hand I want to be a decent human being and help a friend who has been an emotional wreck due to a traumatic experience, on the other I think you might be right and I may be friend zoning myself by doing this (but at the same time we were friends for a few years but hooked up when we were b…

What do you mean by be there emotionally but nothing more? Are you saying move on her completely and just be her friend? Also I can't really fault her for seeing someone else, as I made it clear I wasn't looking for anything serious when she was interested in more. Is their no hope of trying to give it another shot or right now should I just back off

You're better than this. Honestly the best thing for you to do would be to get a divorce and move on and find a woman who respects you. If you really want to save your marriage, go to marriage therapy. Sleeping with his wife won't solve anything, and if your wife was actually sorry and serious she should be blocking his number, but I get the feeling she was sorry she was caught.

I've met plenty of cool girls at night. My last relationship that lasted 5 years was a girl i met on a dancefloor.

Physical engagement. Arm around them when talking, etc.
/r/seduction09/02/19 04:39 PM

And that's my point. It's you holding yourself back, your confidence. I get it, we've all been there. But you're rejecting yourself before you even give them a chance to say yes.

How many women are you approaching in any given week? Be honest. Tinder/dating apps don't count

You look like you care way too much about looks. You're fine, your looks aren't holding you back if that's what you're worried about

Oneitis isn't just being with one girl, oneitis is a term used when you're obsessed with a girl and those feelings aren't reciprocated and you mope around thinking that she's the only girl in the world for you and you're fucked now

You don't want to tell her how you feel. You want to show her. Flirt with her some, if she reciprocates, escalate a little bit. Keep doing that escalating and gauging her response

I don't really have go to questions. When meeting someone I see how well we vibe, and if we vibe well all the questions just naturally come up. I would try to focus more on just being present and having a conversation instead of preloaded questions

No there's no age caveat. I'm in my 30s and have friends in their 40s, same thing. Don't make limiting beliefs for your self and don't believe everyone with a strong opinion and stop creating limiting beliefs for yourself

Appreciate the breakdown. You're right about rsd and state, I guess it would be better to say how to be social when you're not really in a very talkative mood (which is strange since I'm a pretty big extrovert, but spend a lot of time alone due to work). The beginner tips definitely serve as a nice reminder on how to warm up if you're not feeling very social. Ultimately I want to internalize this all. I'm not really here for game advice so much as inner game and how to internalize everything is …

It's your call. But if you want to call her, just call her. Don't overthink it
/r/seduction02/02/19 07:20 AM

That is 100% bullshit. I'm an average guy, and I've hooked up with girls plenty. You don't need to be in a relationship to hook up, and if you don't believe me just go to any bar/nightclub and people watch for a bit.
/r/seduction02/02/19 07:19 AM

Why do you want to talk on the phone with her? Better plan would be to set up a date and hang out.

Depends what you want. Good on her for being honest, but if you're just looking for a fuck buddy with no emotion attached then pursue. If you're trying to date her, it sounds like you may get hurt and either you can talk to her about dating (relationship) or you can meet another girl
/r/seduction30/01/19 05:20 AM

So you mean just invite her out but tell her if you invite other people I'm leaving?
/r/seduction30/01/19 04:48 AM

Problem is I don't know if she's going to invite guys if I invite her out. How would you handle this?
/r/seduction30/01/19 01:50 AM

I wouldn't say it's dead. I have friends who are women who are meeting guys through there. But I give the advice to ditch it to most people on here. You can get dates through it but personally I haven't been on it since it first tinder first came out and even then I preferred in person. Too many guys on here complain about being rejected and not having a gf but have never actually approached a girl. Use online if you want, but it should be a supplement, not your main means.
/r/seduction30/01/19 01:01 AM

Reframe it. Will the woman interest you? Why do you have to not bore her? Maybe she's the one who is boring and not interested in the same stuff. You're trying to find who you can vibe with, not be an entertainer for women. I find personally having that mindset helps a lot

I mean eye contact is pretty important in all human interactions in Western culture, but it's especially important if you're trying to talk to a woman you're interested in. Eye contact shows confidence. If you're constantly darting your eyes or looking down it subtly displays to her that you lack confidence. If you lack confidence then unless she's super into you, it's a turn off. I'm not saying it's impossible to get a girl without eye contact, but your chances will be much better with

Since she's part of my friend group, she is someone I see more often (probably weekly). I've just been playing it cool, and like I'm not too affected as it was my call, but I'm just not sure if there's any saving it. Right now it seems like there isn't too much I can do.

I'm confused, what are you upset about? Your post has over 500 upvotes, with the majority of people saying that's it's helpful, etc. You're getting upset over a few who downvoted or disagreed with you? This is literally like going out, having a bunch of girls interested in you and getting upset about a few who rejected you. You're focusing on the ones who rejected, why?

I don't know her well enough to say. That's sort of the vibe I'm getting, which if it's the case, I refuse to do. I'm too old for that shit. If she's not interested in me and is looking for a friend, that's fine, I'll just meet other women. But I feel like I'm getting into my head over this since I thought this was a date all week and still not sure how she views it

You're not gonna like this answer, but you need to move on. Unless you're willing to accept she's not into you (and it doesn't matter that she once was) you need to stop hanging out with her. From your post it's pretty clear you're not ok with just being friends. So go out, meet other women to help develop an abundance mentality. There are plenty of women out there, you need to meet them. Don't have some huge talk with her where you're like "I can't be friends I care about you too much" or some …

She invited 3, two are definitely guys so I'm not going to be meeting women through her. Worst case, it's a busy place on a Friday night, I'll meet other women, but I do feel weird doing it in front of her. But I dealt with the whole "kind of interested kind of not" thing in the past with a different girl and I don't have patience for games any more. Not going to be made into an orbiter

I understand but sometimes there's people not from this sub or bots downvoting as well. As far as where to go, really any bar on a Fri sat night filled with young people. There's no special place that'll be different than any other. If a place sucks, just go to the next one.

I won't cancel on her. Worst that happens is I have a fun night regardless of the outcome. I planned on going to this event anyway with or without her.

Ignore the downvotes. Don't take them personally. Which is something you need to keep to heart if you're going to be successful with women is to not take rejection personally
/r/seduction25/01/19 11:38 PM

The first one. If you have confidence it doesn't matter if you fly solo if you're talking to girls. No girl asks "how many friends you have". But the second guy probably meets more women in general since he's out. Not saying they're sleeping with him but if he got his confidence in order he'll most likely have more opportunities

Yeah I'm not going to leave my very well paying job with little commute to talk more.

Not all men do. There's a reason some women are afraid of rejecting men and lie about having a bf, etc. Some men get real shitty. That said, since in our society men usually are the ones having to approach, many of us do handle it well. I've seen some women handle it too, but I've seen a bunch fly off the rails before.

Question: you say be social all day. I work in a job where I'm mostly alone with no interaction and don't go out for lunch and I also live alone as well. How do you switch to a social mindset? I'm able to do this most of the time but some days I forget how to talk to humans
/r/seduction22/01/19 08:09 PM

I never really enjoyed online dating much, it seems like so much more work than just approaching. Maybe I'll give it another chance, but I rather just talk to someone in person. That said, it might be a good way to boost my confidence again

/r/seduction21/01/19 11:45 PM

I think you're overthinking this. People's actions are not a reflection of you. The guy who rejected you could have been a jealous dude who saw you as a threat (possibly he was into one of the girls), an asshole, really drunk, etc. Or he felt awkward, etc. I've made plenty of friends from going out alone. Just start a conversation, and there's no shame in saying I just moved here and making friends, people are often surprisingly receptive to the new person because a lot have been in your shoes a…

No I'm very honest about that, I don't want to lead a girl on, it's one of my values I try to stick to. Even though I'm doing the right thing, and they have every right, it does suck when they find someone else and feels like you're being left for them (even though it's me being the one who's unavailable).

Sucks you're going through similar. I too have been a fixer and have been trying to stop it (codependent I believe is the term) which is why I've been so selective You're right I probably am overthinking it, and I know it's good I have these opportunities but at the same time part of me feels like there won't be more. I know logically there will, but it's been messing with my head and then I end up not approaching as many girls because I'm coming from a place of neediness, etc. I realize it's a …

You can be nice to women. It's ok. It's when you're trying to be a "nice guy". That's when you think your niceness entitles you with them. It's not assholes that most women are attracted to, it's confidence. Guess what most "assholes" have? A shit ton of confidence. Check out the book no more Mr Nice guy, I think it may help you.

Ah this classic scenario. She's looking at you to be her orbiter. She told you she wants to just be friends with you, doesn't want anything more, BUT she wants that option always there. Essentially, she likes the attention and validation of you fawning over her. If you are dating other girls, you can't fawn over her. This is especially common in younger girls. If she complains I'd simply be direct with her "You said you wanted to just be friends, so we're just friends. I'm going to date other …
