First of all, it's not infanticide. It's not killing children. It's not murdering babies. It's not killing a fucking infant in its sleep. Abortions are not legal after the second trimester and a fetus sucking its thumb literally has no meaning if it is unable to be mindful of it. Also fetuses don't have the ability to feel pain, nor feel mindful of it as well. Sorry for the formating, I'm on mobile, but here is the source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1440624/ I'm honestly baffle…

When did I say we can decide who is and isn't worthy of life based on their abilities and features? It's a fetus. A fetus feels no pain, sadness, love, hatred, etc. There are no abilities. There are no features. It's a bundle of cells that might or might not grow into a newborn. We can make the decision to abort said bundle of cells if we feel we are unable to provide them with the necessary tools to grow into a well-functioning adult. Said tools include emotional support, financial support, etc…

... I've never facepalmed so hard in my life. Newborn =/= fetus. Baby =/= fetus. Do you even know what a fetus is? Wow I can't believe someone who is so strongly pro life doesn't know what a fetus is. I linked you a NCBI article about fetuses and you link me a YouTube video about newborns? Really? I have no words. I won't be replying to you anymore.

Well when I said feel, I meant it in a more emotional sense, but if you want to go that way, here you go: The neural circuitry for pain in fetuses is immature. More importantly, the developmental processes necessary for the mindful experience of pain are not yet developed. Nervous system development =/= ability to feel pain. Science ftw.

It's a human being that doesn't feel, taste, think, hear, see, etc. It's a human being that might grow up unwanted, unloved and potentially abused as a result. People abort for many different reasons, and in many cases aborting is a much better option than raising a child in poverty and neglect, or abandoning them to be possibly abused or neglected by strangers for the entirety of their childhood and teenage years. It's mind-blowing and honestly kinda rude to the millions of people (men and wome…
