I honestly don't know how you can vet though. Women that come from stable families and have a low N count and a traditional upbringing can still be dishonest. If you are not, situationally, the most Alpha guy in their life they can still trade up, even temporarily, reeking havoc on the family. I guess you can only develop the skill through time and (often) painful experience.

In my experience...and that's all it is, the women I have been with treat me really well, are sweet, feminine etc, all the qualities I mentioned in my last message, never nag, minimal shit tests, some comfort tests, but...I have been surrounded by female infidelity my entire life, from mother to ex-wife, so the relationships always end with some form of cheating, whether emotional or physical. I did a call with Richard Cooper (Entrepreneurs in Cars) last year and he said that I am the common den…

thanks. That is really helpful.

OK cool. Specifically though, do you think some guys enter marriages knowing that they are the beta bucks, and that their woman is probably pursuing her pluralistic mating strategy, but roll the dice anyway because she brings good things to the table (cooking, cleaning, helping with your mission etc, feminine, submissive, no nagging etc) or they are just naive cuckolds?

Thanks for the direct response. I have a really good LTR of 3 years, but I have made some mistakes (not sleeping with other women). I'm thinking of posting another basic question, about Marriage. Where the MRP guys see it on balance: Would they do it again knowing what they know now? All the work that is required to maintain it (and yourself).

Thanks for such a massively detailed response to my question. Glad it could provoke such a well thought-out response. You mentioned that your wife spent a lot of time berating you for supposedly not being trustworthy, but what if your woman was saying that you had trust issues and didn't trust her? This has happened to me in the past, and I shut it down, along with the requests for going to 'counselling', which I calmly refused to do, and then the subject was never mentioned again.

The above text is, for me, an incredible distillation of the wider implications of what is discussed on this sub. The way it is written is, I think, extremely helpful in forging a clear, if stark, picture of the way society is set up. By putting these ideas into a wider societal context, which is what I believe the above writer does, it actually makes it easier (for me at least) to accept the truth, if that makes any sense.

Are you able to give some of us 'average dudes' some schooling here? I've noticed a few comments where you mention these skills that you have developed under some duress, and I for one would welcome some knowledge in this area.

"article is that it never mentions feminism or the liberation movement". My take on that is because ideology is usually more powerful when it is covert, rather than overt. I work in education, and jesus christ, the feminist nonsense passed off as 'common sense' does my head in.

This. /U/MattyAnon always seems to offer succinct summations on RP issues and this is one I've been thinking about today, and I've only been viewing this subreddit for 10 months, in my 45th year on earth. It seems like at some point, you either roll the dice with a chick, or you decide that "marriage is financial and emotional suicide" and you walk away from the marketplace altogether. As he says, what else is there to strive for, when you've been told your whole life that these are the 'Ultimat…

We're not married, she isn't my wife. I did mention that in my OP. Thanks for the tips. I think I'll go MGTOW. I obviously don't understand this stuff and to be honest it seems like a massive amount of work for limited reward. Why bother? Cheers.

Well, she is actually wanting the 'wedding' more than the marriage. I told her that I won't sign a marriage contract, and she is open to pre-nup. I guess I still believe her when she says she wants a partner for life. I know, this is oneitis betamax. She wants a kid. If I don't agree, that's it, game over. Marriage, for me, is having a stable family unit. I miss this, despite my growing RP awareness that this is probably just fairytale.

I understand this for a young man, and it has played out in front of me in my LTR. But what about for an older man (45) dating a younger woman (33)? If she has never married, and 'waited' (haha) are you still going to be weaker after married? How can you be more respected if she leaves? This I don't understand (yet).
/r/TheRedPill21/07/17 11:32 PM

With regards to your intermediate example, isn't that really just fairly obvious that a celebrity type 'marriage' of that nature is doomed from the start. I'm not sure how that could be construed as 'developing your intuition'. I would be more interested to see how you apply these techniques to say, figuring out if your girlfriend is cheating on you, if that makes sense? Useful piece nonetheless, thanks for sharing.

I thought complimenting a woman on her looks was weak BP stuff? I'm sure I read that somewhere in the sidebar...

My understanding of pre-nups too is that once children come into the picture, in many countries the pre-nup then becomes null and void.

Update: If the LTR has moved out (2 weeks now), closed joint account, basically put you in the friend zone and is treating you hot/cold (read: like garbage) and wants to work on stuff for 6_months (no F'in way) etc , is it OK to next her via email, or does it still have to be in person?
/r/askTRP10/07/17 06:03 AM

She moved out because of shit between her and my teenage daughter. I work out, run, swim, lift, play drums, have goals, good career etc. So that part of my life is on point. As I said before though, she is younger, so wants to be 'led' by an older man, I think I have been weak recently.

I just put these as a reply to a comment above: "she went to stay at a hotel for a week, did not give me the address. When I saw it, it was a place you would go to have an affair, it was so hidden. Major alarm bells were ringing. New clothes, makeup. Furtive texting (even in the toilet during my accusation), unusual/out of character expressions in texts to me...phone lighting up like a christmas tree then nothing for hours, days. I don't think I have been a totally beta male in our relationship. However, when she moved out for the week, and then moved into an apartment building directly opposite mine (which kinda seems like she is turning me into a beta-orbiter) my trust was massively damaged. I realize that I did not set proper boundaries on what I expected from her, in terms of communicating her whereabouts. I realize this as being a very beta mistake.
/r/askTRP06/07/17 07:31 PM

Oh, I am well aware that she does. This is a lesson on never letting your GF raise her SMV above yours. We moved countries (to her country of origin, from mine) so I have essentially entered 'her' world, when she was in 'mine'. I guess you could see this as losing frame, in a meta sense. After 6 months, the transition has gone much more smoothly for her than myself, therefore I am in the weaker position. I guess a woman must always follow you, never the reverse.

Well, as I mentioned in comment below, she went to stay at a hotel for a week, did not give me the address.

I am 45, and in an LTR of 2.5 years with a 34 year old woman. I Was married for 10 years, divorced for 10 years before this with 2 teenage daughters. a sacrifice, in order to get sex, domestic comfort, and children. Yes, although I think from what I've been reading over at TRP is that it is the sacrifice bit that is pure blue pill hogwash: The idea that you have to literally or figuratively die to fulfill these desires that is the problem, and makes the women less attracted to you anyway.
/r/MarriedRedPill06/07/17 09:40 AM
1

Well, this is the thing. I want to tell her that she is important to me, but obviously you have to communicate that in non-verbal ways, correct? I find the process of holding frame in a situation like this very difficult.
/r/askTRP06/07/17 09:35 AM

Well, that's why I've been reading here for the past 3 months, learning, lifting and trying to remove the shitty programming that has made me the 'nice guy provider' for so long. When you are a solo dad, that programming is even stronger.

probably the final sentence, unfortunately. It is a bitter pill to swallow.

Well, I actually don't want it to end. However, I feel like that makes me totally scarcity minded. I'm 45, she's 34, we've had a great relationship up to now, but there has been a lot of stress in the past 6 months. I can see how she may have lost respect for me.

So what do you do when you have been asked to have 'The Chat' and you know they are going to dump you after 2.5 yrs? The strategy I find hardest to decipher is when they show up and then expect you to talk first?

Thanks to this insight, I had the idea of trying some RP language and frame with my 14 year old daughter, to the effect of 'I am your father and I will no longer tolerate this disrespectful, entitled and selfish BS. Shape up or ship out back to your mother. " I literally cannot believe how quickly I am seeing improvements in her behaviour. Probably easier when the 'subject' has not completely succumbed to fem indoctrination due to her age, but we'll see how it goes.

Yes. I lift, swim, run and play drums, all mix these up several times a week, but I understand what you are saying. My daughter does not respect me, you are correct.

Mate. I've removed all privileges, removed internet, removed her bedroom door because she kept slamming it. If I had called my father a 'Dickhead' or a 'C*NT' or repeatedly told him to F' off then I would have got a slap, and rightly so. What other options do you have left in this modern world where kid will call the cops on you in a heart beat? (other than counselling which she is already having). The only threat I have is sending her back to her mother, in another country. If you have some sug…

OK. I asked for brutality and got it. I actually do want to live with my partner, despite my knowledge of TRP. We have a great relationship. However, if she just bails when things get too tough, and then wants me to console her that she 'made the right decision to have space' then I can't help feeling that I'm being made a fool of.

My daughter has Oppositional/Defiant behavior, which is a PC way of saying she has no respect. She is having counselling and I'm doing the best I can to impose limits on her behaviour. My only other option is sending back to her mother, who already washed her hands of her when it got 'too hard' (read: kept calling her out on stream of live in partners and bad life choices). Basically, I'm being put in a position where I have to make a choice between the two of them. Edit: Therefore my own happin…

I really empathize with you friend. I married a solo mum, helped bring up her kid for 10 years, had two kids with her, worked my ass off, bought a great house etc and still got divorce raped. I've made every possible blue pill mistake until I found TRP and my life has improved massively, and that was only 6 months ago. I'm in my forties, so you are way ahead of me finding out about this stuff now. I'll tell you, I'm loving the education process, even if it is kicking me in the ass. Luckily, I've…

Case in point: Just when I'm thinking NAWALT I am on the train and I hear some school girls talking about a family party: Schoolgirl: "It's funny when all the old married Aunts get drunk at our family parties and flirt with guys who aren't their husbands".

I response to the above. If you are 45 and have already been married, been divorced, have two teenagers, is there any reason why you should/would consider it again? I am in a LTR that meets all the TRP green flags and who, after 2.5 years obviously wants some indication of greater commitment. Is this suicide? (nb. she is early 30's). Edit: There is not much or any mention of Solo dads on TRP and their 'value' (as opposed to lots of stuff about low value of single mothers, already made that mista…

That was an interesting article. One point disturbed me though: "Goal-Orientation. It is the purpose of a good man to sacrifice himself for his family, his comrades, his superiors, and his people." I've been divorce raped, all I did was sacrifice the entire time in 10 years of marriage, I had no idea of TRP then. Are we still believing that you literally have to die to be married?!

I don't allow shit to happen to me twice Would you also apply that to getting married, again? I got divorceraped 10 years ago. I maintained a great relationship with my kids and have joint custody. I had no intention of being a solo dad, but my ex-wife had a problem with her knickers (they kept falling down around other guys). By the time I am 50 (5 years) my children will be adults. My current LTR (10 years my junior) wants marriage, kids. I'm not really into repeating past mistakes, but as an …

In some respect all interactions with a woman in a LTR are either a shit or comfort test. I had one today: Her : "Can I ask you a weird question?" Me: "You just did."

The marriage is proposed by man to woman Except in most cases it isn't. The man has to give the perception of asking for her 'hand n marriage' but actually it is usually a goal that she wants which, if not given, will signify the end of the relationship.

OK. I was trying to be brief. I have already been married. Learned Blue pill lessons the hard way. Two children with BPD ex-wife. 10 year Marriage ended when evidence of her covert internet dating was discovered. I have been a stand up guy and had joint custody for a decade ( and put up with unbelievable bullshit in the interim) despite a: Not wanting to get divorced or be a solo father, ever and b: Internet dating happened while we were doing marriage counselling (wtf!). I went to the Married Red Pill and there was nothing there...(i'm not married but have been, to a woman that would fit every one of the awful stories here). So I assumed it (the mrp) was a lovely bit of irony.
