Oh, they absolutely can be. Narcissism is not a gender specific disorder.

LOL The UK voted itself out of the EU because Vlad wanted a weakened Europe. Just keep your eyes and ears on what more comes out of the FBI and CIA in coming months. It's already very well known his intentions and manipulations in votes in the U.S. and other parts of Europe. Don't be naive.

And he didn't even hit her that hard, obviously on purpose. That guy clearly has some strength and could have laid her out if he wanted.

He was anticipating her punching him again, and my guess is he would have punched her back if she had.

I don't have a hard time believing it at all. I've heard of far worse from reliable sources.

No way. This guy is a recently retired PD Captain That is why they threw the book at her in the first place, and there's no way a prosecutor is going to give her an easy plea or not take the case to trial.

The typical woman running over a cyclist is subjected to very little scrutiny. Even in situations with brazen and obvious malicious intent. Head over to /r/bicycling to see the virtually non-stop flow of examples.

If you spent a few days around the gaggles of entitled housewives in this area, you'd know this is no one-off nutbag.

20 mil net is not very wealthy. Lots of doctors and lawyers have more than that. 100 million + is getting into seriously rich.

Well put. Most people who experience gender dysphoria simply resolve on their own without any clinical intervention and a lot of them end up gay. No big deal. That's just by the stats. Take care.

The vast majority (over 90%) of "transgender" people never have any kind of genital surgery.

I 100% agree, and it has become startlingly common for both greedy doctors (mostly surgeons) to do this, and for laypeople to pressure children into it (and "transgenderism" in general).

Textbook description of narcissistic parents. You're going to get a lot out of those books, particularly "Wizard of Oz". Unfortunately this kind of situation is incredibly common nowadays. Another book you'll want to read: http://www.amazon.com/Will-Ever-Good-Enough-Narcissistic/dp/1439129436 Good luck

She was just very controlling and took her emotions out on others. She'd often treat my dad poorly even when he was just trying to help or be nice. We were all very frightened of doing something that might anger her. Everyone tiptoed around her. That's pretty much the very picture of narcissistic behavior, FYI. You might consider doing some reading on the subject - minimization of abusive/over-idealization of parents is a common characteristic in children who have been abused by narcissistic par…

Interesting perspective, OP, considering intimacy requires, by its very definition, the participation of BOTH people to even occur. One does not "give" intimacy. One participates in it, only, necessarily, as a mutual participant. It's not a commodity to be tossed around and traded. It's an emergent property. The vast majority of people of people on this subreddit would do extremely well to take a good hard look at the solid, peer-reviewed journaled research studies on childhood trauma, secure at…

I can understand that people have mental disorders. That can happen. But, if that was the case, she should have been institutionalized long ago. Prison, OTOH, will probably only make her more delusional.

If the first responder knows you will respond with MAD, the war will never be started. Wrong. Who wants to be married to a sociopath? No one in their right mind. Somehow you think this talk of mutually assured destruction is the same as nuclear annihilation. I can assure you it is not. Women walk out on men all the time even though they will get nothing. I have a VERY close friend (female) who did just that recently and her husband was CRUSHED. Money and power is not the only thing that matters …

Maybe so, but taking that route is an excellent way to get royally screwed in family court. All a wife has to do is tell her lawyer, which pretty much everyone who isn't completely broke is going to hire, and they are going to have a fucking field day. I guess if someone is just a glutton for punishment, then this might be the ideal choice.

Then if one knows they will get nothing, then why even bother? If it's only to spite an ex spouse, then I've got some even worse news - that person probable has a serious personality disorder and should save their money for an excellent shrink. Cause otherwise, I can pretty much guarantee that every other relationship is going to fail in the same way. Yup. Advising people to do this hiding of assets during a divorce as some kind of "alpha move" is basically idiotic. Those lawyers will fucking eat you alive. Family lawyers even have a phrase for it; "Papering to death"

If you do that and then "suddenly come into all your old money" you had better be ready for some lawsuits, because you are culpable. Fraud is a criminal offense, and so is perjury. Here is a result from a simple google search: Penalties for Hiding Assets If you are caught hiding assets during your divorce, you can get in quite a bit of trouble. A judge could impose sanctions against you, which are monetary penalties that you would be required to pay. A judge could also force you to give up your …

Is getting 25% of a husbands assets default in a divorce? No. It depends on the jurisdiction as to the default partitioning, but in community assets states it's going to be 50:50.

That's not how divorce court/law works. Not even close. It is not possible aver your "right" not to pay child support to a family law court in any jurisdiction in the U.S., if the child is prima facie yours. They don't give a flying shit about what you want in that respect. If a judge says you are going be responsible for child support, you are going to be responsible for child support. It's just that simple. There's no contract, pre-nuptial, or after-the-fact agreement that is going to get you …
