Line Of Credit, specifically home equity. You'd be surprised what pops up on some people's credit checks.

In CA, you have to live in a property for a year before you can rent it out if the financing paperwork lists it as your primary residence. Also, lots of lenders (the private ones are better, stay away from banks) I talk to don't really care about school loans. Credit cards, autos, LOCs, furniture, and other high interest debt will hurt you.

And you don't, that's my point. PS TRP is different than MRP. TRP has more of a stark black and white view of things. MRP is marriage on hard mode because in order to have a successful relationship you must have both alpha and beta traits. TRP doesn't focus so much on the beta, and rightfully so. MRP doesn't much either, but that's why I made this post. Ultimately it wasn't what one woman wanted, but hey, that's not my problem anymore.

What's difficult to understand? Just like there's a spectrum of men, there's a spectrum of women. I imagine that, due to her upbringing and lots of other factors, she prized stability over excitement. Maybe my analysis is wrong, this is still fresh and I'm still slightly hazy. I might come to a completely different conclusion in a month, or six, or 12.

Have had challenging leadership positions from a young age, professionally, semi-professionally, socially. Tool in the toolbox, and while it helps with your image, leadership does not equal getting laid. Neither will happen well with that covert contract.
/r/MarriedRedPill30/11/17 10:43 PM

But leadership is only one way to achieve social proof, and a poor one at that because the majority of the brilliance of quality leadership is never seen publicly. I'd rather get social proof by being a charming asshole that isn't trying to lead anybody, except to enjoy himself. Leadership is another tool in the toolbox, and like any tool, it is easy for lazy people to analyze the tool rather than use it.

A question, for shits and giggles. In the context of the majority of divorces being initiated by women, do you think there's a reason that some women don't kill the puppy themselves, other than wanting to not look like the bad guy?

you're really re-writing the narrative here I'm learning as I go. I have insight now that I didn't have when I wrote the original. The OP was just about my shit I needed to own, but people are jumping on the other side where she's a cheating bitch. Both are true, but I went with MRP not TRP. I should have explained the obvious, that the relationship is over. this attention is feathered back Right, this is what the OP was about. I missed the feathering part, or the using-attention-to-reward part.…

You said what I tried to. This is why women cheat on alphas with betas. And why marriage is hard mode. Even betas have a type of game that women will find attractive at some point. We You must have BOTH if we you want successful marriages. Edited

she wanted a co dependant. Could be she wanted her dad bod who was safe and secure. Fucking exactly. One of the myths of RP (more T than M) is that all women want an alpha. Flaired before this post, and I was flaired under a different handle before this. That I "get it" means nothing except that I've read the sidebar, understand the concepts on an intellectual level, and can spit it back out coherently. It's a really low bar actually. I can't prove that I am lifting, have great hobbies, am an awesome dad, or that I have a great marriage. In fact, I fuck up regularly. Like everyone else does. Men, women, doesn't matter. We all screw up. The flair doesn't mean I have…

searching for a narrative to explain your own failures withdraw presence when being present to the point that you drive your wife into the arms of a beta because she is suffocating from a lack of feelz I'm trying to apply both TRP and MRP in the same situation, where I next her because she fucked up but also own whatever areas I can improve on. I did nothing to warrant what she did, I didn't withdraw, I merely had imperfections. For that she is 100% responsible. I'm just taking whatever lesson I…

there was nothing you could do that would make her not want new dick That's what I'm trying to articulate, while still acknowledging areas I can improve upon. Applying TRP "next!" and MRP "OYS" in the same situation. replace her quickly I've had enough IOIs to know I've got many options. I plan to take time to mourn and get my emotions under control. Is she a foot fetishist I literally emphasized how much I enjoyed giving them. She has a foot phobia and I worked hard to get her to let me touch her feet. It's for me, not her. Fuck, you didn't even have to read between the lines on that one, and you still missed it. Don't reward bad behavior. In my post-affair panic (yes, I had oneitis/pedestal/etc), I did try to "win her back". But it's over now.

One of the few who gets the point that I so hazily put out there. It's edited for clarity. Time to start mixing the beta back in Well, not exactly Mostly tongue in cheek to see if I could trigger will88. I agree that the terminology is currently almost too loose to be helpful. Thus, in TRP terms, one should avoid "Beta" and Rambo the fuck out of your plates. In MRP terms, one should be Alpha, but also provide strong Oak and Beta comfort especially to reinforce good behavior. I Ramboed, but slowl…

Didn't think I was. But apparently she could sense that I wouldn't really follow through with leaving her. Or at least bullshitted herself enough. Looking back, it seems like everything I would do that we suggest on here to increase dread just gave her more justification. I thought we were on the same page with this 2 years back, when I had my main event I had the theory down pat. It hadn't been tested like this though. I still need to figure out how much I slipped, but I know I slipped. Initial shock indeed. I've got my feet under me again. I'm awesome, fuck her. However... Hey, another autist! You missed my implication. You think footrubs make a marriage work? You think I actually believe that? The idea is to pass comfort tests and not let the romance die. Fuckin aspies.

This is why I post here. Sometimes people get shat on because they know better. But if they can take the shat, they'll be better for it. Most of the time y'all know how much shit to pile on before it becomes abuse for abuse' sake. This post and comments have been a good sparring session.

I had blind spots, yes. There were areas where I could have done better. I see that now. I had covert contracts and had her on a pedestal and didn't realize it. Lesson learned. But I owned my shit. She just wasn't haaaaapppy with who I was, wanted me to bend to her. Didn't help that she never let me know she was this unhappy. Just went out and fell in love with someone else. 100% on her.
/r/MarriedRedPill29/11/17 04:33 PM

Fine line between covert contract and a value exchange. She was worth foot rubs and all that romance that I stopped. But fuckin shit it wasn't so bad she had to do this. She's got issues, and I didn't realize I had her on a pedestal. I didn't realize I thought she was different. you vet her family Example: her dad never compliments her. I thought, awesome, I don't have to give many compliments because she isn't used to them and doesn't take them well. Mistake. I read that situation wrong.

Don't worry, we're watching this live. She's out with the dude as I type, I'm drafting logistics (custody, finances, etc. that I'd planned out in advance. I saw a divorce lawyer years ago). I commented elsewhere that this post is more of a post mortem reflection than a strategy to win her back. I don't take any blame for her decisions. She decided to be unhappy, and not a damn thing I would have done would have changed that. But I can still learn lessons and improve.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 07:46 AM

This is why I say that she dreaded me back: I also made it clear that I could replace her. Turns out she didn't want to be replaceable, she wanted to be worshipped. So she fell for the first guy who gave her that. Not sure I could have turned this around, even if I followed my own advice in the post. But there are lessons I learned that I will carry forward.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 07:43 AM

Funny thing, I cheated on her years ago. Very different reasons, but she should have left me. I was a complete and utter bitch. Seems I still have bitchness in me.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 07:42 AM

No shit. Apparently I have oneitis. This is a post mortem reflection, not advice to myself about how to bullshit my way into cuckoldry. Marriage is over.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 07:41 AM

Oneitis for sure. I had a blind spot. This post is intended as an extreme ownership of my shit, not an excuse for her. I see how how it came across that way. Post mortem indeed.

Never said MRP says to do that. Hence the don't eat paint/aspies comments. I was stupid.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 03:30 AM

It's simpler than that. I didn't only up the alpha, I repressed any sort of comfort. I failed comfort tests. So it makes sense that she would fall into the arms of beta bob. That's all I'm saying.

Abundance 101 Truly. I thought I had it because I was getting IOIs, numbers, sex was great... But when it comes down to actually losing her, I've got fucking oneitis. unlimited foot massages Didn't say I was staying or leaving. The lesson is for any future. Marriage is over, don't worry.

Never said I was going to stay with her. The three points at the bottom apply to whatever future I have with whatever future women. That wasn't clear.

What about his present and future mistakes? What about her behavior, that gets a pass? That's why I'm posting. Yeah, I have issues. I want the feedback. If you look at this and my previous handle, not many of my posts get ranked very high. But there's plenty of comments. I've done lots of work on this sub. her behavior No comment. Still working. Marriage is over, if that counts for anything.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 03:26 AM

She dreaded me more than I dreaded her. She called my bluff. She cheated, and I stayed because I believe (wrongly) that I have more to lose. Trust me, this came out of nowhere. Thought I was doing good. Turns out she was dead to me for months, years. Who knew. Don't worry, marriage is over. I made her kill the puppy.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 03:25 AM
3

The marriage is over. She's gone. I don't see myself as a high value man. Objectively, I'm sure I am. I get IOIs, made tremendous gains publicly, socially, and career-wise. Its the internal game I lack in. Inherent doubt of myself.
/r/MarriedRedPill28/11/17 03:23 AM

You asked your wife "why" she cheated on you. She then assigned the blame to you. In none of this am I publicly blaming myself. Her feet are to the fire. I'm just reflecting on how I fucked up. Not saying that would have saved the marriage. Did she seek to ask for you to meet her needs in a way other than fucking beta bob? Would her requests have fallen on completely deaf ears? Slighty deaf, but I'm obtuse sometimes. She didn't tell me how I was failing her because she was protecting my feelings…

I just finished reading Rollo's series on the Creep. For someone in a marriage or LTR, their attractiveness is relative to the perception their woman has of them. Does my wife see me as a beta schlub? Then my offered comfort will be despised. Does my wife see me as an alpha, leader, or real mantm ? Then my offered comfort will be cherished. It all depends on if I meet her standard for attractiveness, which is determined from the context of our entire history together. Of course, physical attract…

Comfort is a natural part of any sexual and intimate relationship I'm too busy to go find it now, but someone recently said that they provide the same comfort - or show the same "beta" qualities - as before, but because they're coming from a place of strength and not a place of supplication, the effect is 180 degrees different.

Every book on the sidebar is there for a reason. If you skip a book, you'll miss important points. And the section titled "General Awesome Guy Shit" isn't specifically related to MRP, but they are all either based on RP principles or will help you challenge yourself and think more like an RP man. Example: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance has nothing to do with RP directly. So you're writing video games and making money with that skill, right? The writer is a genius who works his ass off. I've conquered the world, therefore I am owed the world. Flawed thinking. You never get to sit back and enjoy the love. You'll Always Be Conquering. For me it comes down to wanting to be appreciated for pulling through, working my ass off, and making myself awesome. You do realize you'll never be appreciated like you want, right? You mentioned holding a grudge. That's because we think the work we do is somehow unique, herculean, special. But men are just as replaceable as women. We talk so much …

Crap, forgot this gem: she makes up bullshit excuses of the children being all over her Ties in with the daisies/mud puddles idea. Go do something with the kids without her. Two birds: she can't use the kids excuse, and the distance creates dread. Not dread that you're with another woman, but dread that she's being left behind. Nothing like taking the kids out for a nice long daddy date to make the wife attentive and sweet. Now she's competing with the kids for your attention, not the other way …

I doubt OP is trying to hide anything. Think of it as powertalk on the part of fakefalse: he's essentially told her via this post that he's creating a new account. Sure, she could find it; but if she wants the marriage to work out, she'll understand that she doesn't have any business snooping around the men's locker room.

Call it old school vs. the digital age, but I keep my kids as far away from a screen of any kind as possible. And I live in California, where tech is in no short supply. I'd much rather my kids learn about dirt, trees, paths, map reading, physics, and interacting with others from real life, not from an over-the-top, fantastical simulation. I'm jealous of your small town living. You have some great opportunities around you. Meh. You do you.

When is the last time you got bundled up with your daughter, went out and splashed in rain puddles or mud with her, then came back in and curled up with a great kids book and hot cocoa with her? Come on man, I know you added that "lol", but seriously. You're smarter than that. Use your imagination and stop making excuses.

Comfort tests and shit tests are a spectrum. Lots of undercover lesbianism. Homosexuality/pederasty also helped balance things. (There's theorists that believe that the rise of homosexuality in a nation spells the end of said nation. Another discussion though.) The healthiest societies honored sex, even made it into a religious practice or even a path to enlightenment. These societies had fully regulated "pleasure quarters", where the prostitutes would handle their business. No one went without except the very poor.

which otherwise turns to gender anarchy with a loss of values. Disagree. Religion forces certain sexual behaviors, patterns, and rules. Without religion a society turns either to hedonism or finds balance. The best societies honored sex of all kinds as a religious practice.

Superior, in most ways Agreed. Out of the spotlight, but also out of harm's way. One woman for life and not much sex Not accurate. If you read about sex in history, even lower- to middle-class men typically had more than one wife or concubines and saw prostitutes as needed. It was only in the last 500 years, and mostly in Europe, where non-monogamous or pleasure-based sex was demonized (thank you Christianity). Women were "oppressed" throughout history, that is true. But it is only one side of the story. While women were being "oppressed" (e.g., not allowed to vote, no legal rights, utter disgrace in divorce, etc.), men were being "oppressed" as well: dying in wars, sacrificing their own comfort for the good of their tribe/town/country, shouldering all the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively), building empires, etc (paying, supporting, dying, like you said). So sure, women were not "equal" to men…

Comfortable with the status quo as long as the status quo was tolerable. Ironically, my wife was the one with the vision of us being awesome together, and was actually working towards it while we were dating. What's ironic is that the only time women want to win is when they're in competition with other women. Has nothing to do with their man, or men. There was a quote floating around the main sub awhile back about how the thing women care about the most, the opinions and approval they really, truly want, is from other women. Hence why dread works so well.

I meant the latter. We want to believe we're more than bugs on a rock, even though we have no evidence that it's anything but that. That you didn't provide enough (or at least the right kind of) comfort and reassurance. That you were working hard to give the value that she wasn't asking for. That you both understand both of your contributions to the problem. How much shit do you own in public? How much do you make someone else own their shit? I need to hear the answer.

Fantastic rework of strat's pieces. More actionable detail and conviction than he gave. That was towards the end of his stint, I think he was checking out by then.

Good response. I'm gonna give you a bullshit answer to get a laugh and get the gist across, but if you press me for a serious answer I unleash all the reason behind it that proves I'm not some vapid alpha jock idiot. The depth lies just below the surface.

Fucking this. Even if there's more responsibility with the wife than what you're ascribing to her (very likely), the focus should be on Jack. Because he could have done something about it. Like rian said, round 2 coming right up if the only conclusion we draw is that Diane is so stupid, haha stupid Diane. Revenge porn is like blinders.

I think that it should be With a worthy woman, I completely agree. I also agree that there is some nuance that TRP in general doesn't touch on, and that is the difference between alpha provision and beta provision. Your OP doesn't touch on that, and that's what I was highlighting. You specifically called it Alpha Bucks, which while maybe the term is helpful for noobs, is a gross oversimplification of the complexity and unique application of the concept to each marriage.

I think it depends on what the woman wants, and what you want. Yeah I know, AWALT. But this jerkoff explained how all the theory in the world won't explain who you are or who she is. The theory is more helpful in TRP where men can bail on one chick if her hypergamy starts showing. They chase the unicorn. They find the balance. But when you're married and don't want to end the relationship, you have to work with what you have. What you might have is a woman who has accepted the BB lifestyle. (Sid…

It was a reminder to those who are like I was, retarded with game and following the handbook instead of living it. Sure its in the sidebar. But then why post at all? I think your short stature gets to you sometimes. ;)

I've been here for years. Took some time off, jumping back in with a fresh handle. These guys (and others, RIP) thickened up my skin back in 2013-14. Thanks for the concern though.

This post isn't for men like you. You were a natural that let things slide. I was a dad-bod socially autistic retard who had to learn the basics. This is a moderate level reminder to those who have done the basics and are initiating well, but still don't enjoy the flow. This post is for that flow.

Anti-slut defense doesn't apply just in public settings. She doesn't want to feeeeel like a slut. And when you make it her responsibility to decide to have sex, she feels like a slut, not in a good way. I agree with your low status statement, and this post is for men who aren't natural alphas or already on top of their game. It's a reminder for those who, like I used to be, struggle with social awareness. Present tense? Mixed up tenses. But I do test these theories occasionally for fun. I come o…

Acts of service huh? Been reading 5 Love Languages? That book actively instills covert contracts in its readers. And you're one example, and so was I. I utterly despise the book for that reason. Great concept, horrible execution. Ditch the "I fill your love tank, you fill mine" mentality. And replace it with this one: If I never receive praise, recognition, reward, or results from what I am considering doing, will it be worth it? Does it add intrinsic value to my life? Yes, forget about her need…

Thanks to her ASD, she wants to experience sex as if it "just happens." Nothing dries her up more than the guy's attitude of: "ok, now prepare yourself, because I am going to initiate for sex presently. Here we go. Starting initiation sequence." After the deed is done, you should both be laying there thinking, how did we get here? That was unexpected and fun! Except you'll know what happened. The natural blurs those lines so there's no distinction between him pursuing sex and just having a good …

I understand what you're saying I think. I also think we're both trying not to be too wordy, because we'll probably realize we're saying the same thing. I'm just wary of anyone, especially a Christian, who is suggesting taking something that already works well and bastardizing it into a mess of rules, procedures, and backwards thinking because they think they're special and that the standard doesn't apply to them.

There is such a thing as an ideal ship though, and it's a pretty simple build, because we all have the same, very specific goal: a better sex life. You can't leave tools out if you're going to achieve this goal. Simply put, and speaking from personal experience, the closer I stick to the MRP roadmap, the more and better sex I have. No picking and choosing.

Things get good when value is being added. As value is added, not only value-leeching things are deleted, and not only valueless things are deleted, but lesser-value things are deleted. For many, that can include MRP and forums. It becomes a distinct decision for a guy who is succeeding to stick around these parts, IN ORDER to give back to the community. MRP no longer provides value like it did in the beginning. That's why we don't get many success reports. I've never seen a healthy man walk int…

how to act/ know in an instance when your wife wish that you would mate guard. You mean when your wife wishes you would play white knight. I don't take that bait. If there's actual danger or threat, I step in (but chances are I've planned or taken action long before she would have to ask). But most of the time she's trying to play helpless, pick a fight with me, or both. Usually on or around her menstruation.

That's why it's so important to be an awesome man without her first. She could cook, clean, do laundry, etc., but she'll stay attracted to you throughout it all if she knows you could do it just fine yourself. They the chores aren't done out of obligation but out of desire. It's a joy for her to serve such a competent man. Make the best bed, cook the best meals, own that laundry, maintain your own goddamn cars/property. The buck should stop with you, even if she's the one currently tasked with t…

Women have gotten lazy as fuck. Read back on sexuality and relationships any time from the dawn of civilization to the 1950s. Men built society or risked dying out, women kept the men satisfied or risked ostracization.
