The red pill was a thing since 1999 when it was used as an analogy for rejecting the system in the movie The Matrix. It's possible for multiple groups to borrow an idea, that's how culture works.

Think there is any validity to this? My assumption is that this is yet another realm where women have imposed standards on other women, much like the fashion magazines read and ran by women impose impossible beauty standards on women. But that's just my take away.

It came from us trying to get rid of fat in 1980 because of one bullshit study that said it caused heart disease. Fat made food yummy, so without it everyone added sugar and carbs in excess to everything. Sorry.

It really does shock me that people claim this book has no worth what so ever. Sure, I'm biased because I actually read it and admittedly enjoyed it... but there are lots of passages like that quote throughout the book on a whole spectrum of topics. Sure her characters are unrealistic at times, but so is Batman and we can all learn from him.

Brennan doesn’t seem to care that her presence at Wotever made some people feel unsafe. Haaaaaa. She has an actual history of intimidation and doesn't recognize or doesn't care she makes people unsafe where men, with a history or not, are suppose to be 100% aware 100% of the time of how their mere presence however innocent or legitimate on playgrounds, sidewalks, elevators, etc makes women feel unsafe, threatened, bullied, and the like.

Ive worked in 3 studios in the game industry. Its not that we want it to be a sausage fest, there just really isnt the interest or talent from women. I'm the 32nd employee of my current studio and its has 2 women, one is QA (and awesome and a great friend) and the other is reception. Also, completely besides the fact that China is a very different country. Poorer populations have large families because it requires that many children to care for the parents in old age, work the farm, etc. The richer a society gets the less children it has, almost to a fault (look at Europe). You act like people are without thought and just automatons.

Agreed. But I think government can do some things that don't necessarily require force, coercion, fraud, propaganda, etc that might have a positive effect... not exactly sure what those are. My previous post last night, I was feeling extremely generous.

Debatable, its usually when it is "properly" governed that we get the real collusion and corruption. Businesses that fall behind in the market place and can't keep up with competition begin to rent-seek with the government to protect their business or create government sanctioned monopolies and the like.

Totally agree! I have a love for computer games and I'm sure I'd even more disregarded if I actually wasn't a professional game designer as well... Then it's cool. But like star wars, games have grown up, the actual average age now for gamers is 32 years old and had been playing for an average of 12 years. Star Wars isn't just for 13 years and nor are games, despite how much this article tries to prove that.
