You shouldn't read too much into that, online interactions do not reflect real life intentions. There may be many reasons, but most likely she just wanted attention on her profile. Women are bombarded with messages and likes, so you may be just another random guy for her

Give an excuse, at least. For instance, the great view from your apartment, or the tricks your dogs knows, etc She will get it, women are smart, and doesn't sound so harsh. If you have the right vibe it won't come off as desperate, but as something said by someone who knows how the game is played.

My opinion: She felt too much pressure when you asked her for a date. She was not ready for the commitment of romantic activity with you, so she couldn't agree with this specific proposal. She tried to water down your expectations by saying she may have something with her ex, but have a open relationship (to not shut you down completely). Being a woman, she is hit by all kind of creepy guys who get too attached with a minor sign of interest. Don't give that same vibe to her. She basically needs …

You are overthinking. By the tone of your post, I'd guess, if the girl confronted you, you would freak out. Never freak out, always be calm, embrace what you say, respond "Yeah, that's one of my best lines" with a smile, or anything that shows that it is ordinary situation. So, next time you see her, no need to bring that up, and if she brings, just be natural.

The majority of women will fall to peer pressure. It may be a good or a bad thing, depending on the group opinion.

Hey Todd, In "other pickup companies" infields, they often show very bold openers, like hug-spinning girls or literally picking them up. I assume that, for marketing reasons, infield footage is heavy edited/cherry picked, and I am not condemning that. But, what is the real world success rate of this kind of move (considering everything is done correctly)? Considering you have a lot of first hand experience, at least seeing that being done. Best wishes on your solo career!

In the process of learning the social skills you want, you are going to fail a couple of times. Therefore, it's better if you can do that without burning yourself socially, at least in beginning. Clubs are a good place to practice, nobody is going to remember your mistakes. After some time you are going to learn how to handle your mistakes and will to able to "train" even on your social circle.

Could you elaborate on that or give some exampes why PUA ideas are outdated?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
