Jezebel is part of the Gawker network which is a series of trash/tabloid style blogs. They intentionally say things that are inflammatory in order to get page clicks - which equals ad revenue for them. I thought about that. It's one thing to form an opinion about some article on the web, but it's an entirely different story if i were to find out about some sex crime that happen to someone i cared about (which it has). Let's get something clear so that we're talking about the same thing here, we're not talking about actual rape, but rathar false accusations. The lives saved are the men, or women, who are being spared from having their lives destroyed by false accusations. and It saves the accusing party from getting themselves into a situation as well.
