I can totally understand🤣🤣🤣 That would be disturbing as hell
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 09:12 AM

Sorry to bother you, but did you get that sleep? I want to ask how you're feeling and your struggle with this. I think I can help you overcome this.

Ok - now we're talking. I'd like to ask you a question because I want to understand from the opposite opinion without judgement. I don't understand why if neither party is groomed into a relationship and both of them are legally consenting adults, I don't get how a sexual act between both of them could possibly be seen as creepy. Could you please help me understand this? Also, I am very sorry about what you had to go through. It should never happen to anyone.

For the love of god, why is this such a controversial topic? Feminist or not, if one party is not groomed and they are both legally consenting, it shouldn't be a problem at all....

Not all women. And most likely not her.

Thank you for even telling me this. I can wait. I only want to help you go through this because I am going through it myself in a way - although the worst of it is in the past. Go get some sleep.

So like Donald Trump and Karen Mcdougal then? Except of course no Melania. Im sorry for what you had to go through. You might find my comment that I made to your post enlightening.

Look, I understand your perspective and I'm not going to disagree with it. I get with what you're saying and can agree with it. HOWEVER, as someone who has been on the other side of this rope and of these abusive scenarios, I also understand OP's perspective. I can agree with that one as well. I know exactly what she's talking about. I say this to say that we can argue all we want about a situation, but when you're actually in it, its a completely different situation. There are so many things to…

I went exactly through - or way worse of a situation - than you did and can understand what you're talking about OP. Except, I'm a man. There was only one time I was ever forced to do a mind game. Except for two seperate occasions, I absolutely refused to do things that way and all those times burned me. I say this to tell you that nobody gets to decide who you are. You get to decide who you are, no matter the cost. Even if your family decides to play mind games as well and not just other people…

I mean this with respect - you're a good man. I like you. And I agree with almost everything you said. But I also think there is another situation or world where this MIGHT be justified, regardless of gender. I actually did not assume anything about the guy, whether he deserved it or not. I just said that I want to hear both sides of the argument, before passing judgement who was worse - the woman or the man. I was questioning the various scenarios before immediately assuming someone's position.…

Man you are so sexist to say that. I support men's rights and am not a feminist, just to let you know.

First off, when I said that "it is because of people like Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, and Ted Bundy that we are in this mess", I did not for once say that it was because of them that we have androcides. So, that is just strawman argument for many reasons, but I am not going to go into it for now because strawman argument is strawman argument regardless of reasons for or against it. Second, I have never said any excuses for anything because my message has been the same from the beginning: tha…

I'm guessing you've never been in real fights before. Trying to figure out why someone else does what they do is part of the actual fight, so I don't think that constitutes as me being a "simp."

On that, I definitely agree! The comments are terrible, I just meant that the question itself might not be the worst thing. But having read some of the replies to the comment I made, I realised that the question could certainly have been worded differently and better. But I never would have been expected that my comment be met with such vitriol by other people (not you, thank you😊) when my only intention was to understand what actually happened. No wonder we dont get much support from women. The…

You know what, I'm not satisfied just arguing a little bit against you. You just made this personal. If you are supposed to be about protecting men and helping them achieve what they want, the last thing you should tell someone is to "never return to this sub." There are lots of boys and men who are afraid to be associated with mens rights because they are afraid of being labeled sexist. They are afraid that the movement has become extreme and misogynist, when the true motives of the movement we…

Oh, and by the way, if you're going to be more argumentative just because you were molested and care about men's right, I should remind you that its because of people like Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein, and Ted Bundy that we are in this mess. I don't think rapists or child molesters count as "men" anymore.

How on earth did you misinterpret what I said to that degree?! I did not mean that someone being molested would be better off burned alive. I mean that someone who molests a kid can deserve to be burned alive

That's exactly the problem, they wouldn't. Frankly, minus the "deserve" word, I think everyone should ask what they both did regardless of gender.

I see. Okay. I just think that maybe that is the bigger problem, the fact that no one would ask who is the bigger jerk in the situation regardless of gender. Because some things are worse than being burned to death, such as someone's kid being molested. They dont justify each other, but it just shows how no one actually cares about the case anymore. They just care about being sensitive and caring for one party over another, one gender over another. I don't think that is why we all joined mens ri…

Aah, I see. But to be honest, I would ask what she did to provoke him. I wouldn't justify such a violent act, but I'd still try to figure out what happened. But thank you for telling me why its a double standard😊.

Thank you so much for telling me this. I really mean this. It might not mean so much for you, just sending a message of what you think is true, but it means so much for me because it is hard being a man who wants to support everyone when the people I care about (such as the men who downvoted this comment) aren't willing to see that we can all be so much more than "what is unfair" or "what society does to men". As men, we can be the difference. We're stronger than this. We can empathize and suppo…

Look, I don't want to be a jackass, but isn't it natural to ask what the other guy did when you already know what the girl did? I don't actually think this constitutes as misandry, its perfectly natural to seek both sides of what happened.

I want you to look at this clip: https://www.facebook.com/upsoclicons/videos/885679032544698/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v Its a moment in the award shows where Cameron Diaz was forcibly kissed by a male actor. Notice how nobody stood up for her right when it was happening? Notice how nobody directly addressed it, not even Jim Carey? When I was kid in elementary school, I saw a girl being sexually harassed by her male friend in a bus full of students older than me and a grown up bus driver. I was a…

I prefer not to be hostile about frivolous comments and prefer to be chill about reactions, but you are way beyond just correct. You absolutely hit the nail, especially that last part. I didn't realize that particular angle, though I knew how disprovable those scenarios tend to become. I knew many of them were excuses...never thought it was a purposeful tactic. The implications of that...holy shit.

You are right. You did not post anything wrong, and the guys above you didn't accept the message you properly explained. I just wanted to post this comment to share that a lot of us men completely accept you. I'm even sorry that you have to feel this way. I don't judge you, and I'm sure a lot of us men don't judge you either. By a lot, I mean quite a lot, more than you would probably expect.
