the same dynamic applies between men with x disadvantaged characteristic and women with x disadvantages characteristic whether it be weight, height, being autistic, being gay and so on. the discrimination women received for having a socially disadvantaged characteristic is also vastly lower than a man. women have to be "protected" and "supported" at all times. men are considered disposable by society on the other hand.
