It's absolutely impossible to grow as a human being without pushing yourself into areas where you are either uncomfortable and afraid. Cold approaching a stranger in a room full of people is a fucking frightening experience, and being nervous or afraid doesn't make you a loser, it makes you someone who is pushing the limits of their internal state.
