As a young boy I read books written by Enid Blyton. I didn't know her sex and I didn't care.

For example, Chilean president is called Sebastián Piñera. His sisters (all of them married) are also Piñera. His wife is Cecilia Morel. If you meet an unrelated person Marta Piñera you would think she is his sister or cousin, but not his wife.

In Spain and most of Latin America wives don't take their husband's names. Of course nothing happens here when Camila García picks up her son Juan González. This also happens in China.

I believe he was guilty. Possibly the jury and the judge believe he was guilty. However killing someone is a crime unless it's in self defense. In this case it's worse because she tortured him to death.

In Chile and Argentina men retire at 65 and women at 60. However in Chile we have individual capitalization funds. This means you can retire as soon as you have a given amount in your individual account. On average men in Chile retire at 63 and women at 62. Since women live longer they get lower pensions for the same capital and same age of retirement.
