whether an accusation was intentionally false There's a loophole in India's rape law which allows a girl to file a rape case against her (ex) boyfriend for not marrying her. Now this may not be intentionally false, but refusal to marry wouldn't count as rape in any sane country other than India.

In most states, the false accusation rate is in the range of 40-70%: https://deccanchronicle.com/nation/current-affairs/311018/andhra-pradesh-45-per-cent-rape-cases-relate-to-false-marriage-promis.html

I just realized that comments in a quarantined sub can't be gilded. Thank you so much for this.

If anything, India is less corrupt, because it is possible for men to escape the police without losing their reputation and livelihood. You really don't know much about India, do you?

who told a few girls at a party how they should "be careful" and "he's not very nice." Did he do that with the intention of getting you laid?

More than half the rape cases in India fall under this category. e.g. Educated woman can’t allege rape if boyfriend refuses to marry her: Court

That's a thing in India. Search the web 'rape promise marriage India'.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
