I started having a bad taste for that show years ago! I used to get together with girlfriends to watch. I started hating it while my friends continued to love it, but I kept it to myself. It’s nice to see something posted about it affirming my feeling! It always triggered me how the women would perform for the man and how insecure they would get in themselves for this guy.

When I gave only my screen name to a guy I met online I have not been connected to him in any other way on other apps. So maybe that only works if you never gave the person your real phone number, ever.

Oh no! I didn’t verify my number in the app.. I’m going to double check this though.

Yes he threw out insults at me in the middle of the street. It was like night and day. The worst part was people were watching, that never happened to me before. I am glad that it happened and it’s officially my new vetting strategy. I didn’t mean that I wasn’t interested, just that I don’t give my number out right away. Oh well.

A guy asked for my number and I said I give out my telegram (which is not connected to my phone number unlike WhatsApp, and you only give out a screen name..which isn’t the same as my social media). The guy flipped out on the spot and said “you’re so COnFiDeNt I didn’t want your number I have a serious girlfriend and like 3 cars” and made a scene right there in the street where passerbys were looking on at us.. it was the weirdest thing ever.

These days you don’t even have to send them, they can just take a picture or you when you’re not looking.. this is another reason to be 100% sure the person you are with is trustworthy, or holding off until marriage

Thanks. I didn’t exactly record the situation going down so I don’t have evidence to give, I didn’t record me saying “I want to wait to hook up until marriage” , neither did I screen shot him watching my social media stories on another account after I blocked him, etc. But I can record these things moving forward. I think I’m just left with the scar of what happened. At least that incident led me to this group, because it is one of the things that led me here.

Yeah the last thing I want is to revisit this trauma, it happened a year ago now. I’ll have to make the decision if I want to focus on it again for some sort of justice or move forward in my life, while feeling like he took a piece of me.. although what goes around will always come around… perhaps in the future when I’m in a stable place I can expose him.. just like emrata did with that photographer last year

Thank you this really helped. For the “why now?” my answer is because I still think about it. I also blocked this guy on social media and a few months later saw he was watching me on another account I was unaware was his. Just so violating.

Thanks. I’m in the United States. Yes I’m going to look into therapy. Just got me thinking if guys who take advantage can be reported or if it’s not big enough to “the system”. I’ll probably just have it as a hard lesson learned. This is where having a big brother to beat the shit out of him would be nice.

What do you all think about this translating to social media? For example: DMS and comments. I have a blog on social media and these 2 forms of communication have really stressed me out. I have found DMs from people I know from the past in my inbox, a guy from high school even called me on it at 1230am which is a feature I now disabled and I blocked him after. Then there are the comments, people you don’t necessarily want to reconnect with leaving comments, people who don’t have your best intere…

I was someone with too much of a big and pure heart, I still have it, but after I went on 3 dates during the pandemic after I had spent time all by myself and creating, I noticed how I was fucked over each date, and they still wanted to see me again and play with me, just toxic. It was a contrast to see, I am alone and creating things and at peace, yet when I went on these dates with these 3 guys and ventured out of my bubble, it was chaotic, traumatic, and confusion. I am not over exaggerating …

The reason they’re negging is because you’re great, not because you need to be more this or that. People can only try to tear down what is already above them.

Thanks. Well this is a good vetting strategy then: “I only give my telegram messaging app screen name out” ..( no phone number required unlike WhatsApp). Really exposes the guy right off the bat. Who wants to give their personal phone number to a stranger??? Why don’t some people understand this? That guy must have a very sensitive ego.

Yes I wasn’t trying to humiliate him though, that’s just a way to protect myself. Definitely did dodge a bullet there. I’m not sure why it would be humiliating for him for me to say that? Wouldn’t a guy respect that?

So I was just walking to my car from a hike, and this guy getting out of his car on the way to the stopped me to get my number. He asked me a few questions about myself and then when it got time to exchanging I said, I only give my telegram app out (this way I never give out my real number). He immediately changed his whole personality and said “I have a serious girlfriend and like 5 more cars I wasn’t asking you for your number! Ha! You’re so coNfIdEnT”. I also block people who are coming for my peace, or people from the past who pop up out of the blue and want to start following you etc etc, I block people from periods of my life I don’t want to revert or turn back to… the more I have removed people that don’t fit in my life anymore the more I have grown… so there’s that. Edit: this might not apply to everyone but I used to not vet people and didn’t have the standards of people to be around me as I have today. So I’ve had to cut quit a few peop…

Wow. I went on a date with a guy who was encouraging me to go on a Diet Coke diet once. Mind you I was already thin at 5 7” and 130lbs, I can’t believe he would suggest that. I also dated a guy who would try to get me to eat a lot and control my food intake by eating more food! Literally demanding it! This guy liked skinny women though? So I’m not sure why he demanded me to eat more! I would literally say no and he would order me plates of food and would get me to eat.

Oh I see. Good! Make sure you don’t use that number for any social media accounts so you won’t pop up in “people you may know” or that you can be googled/searched.

What does scrote stand for? Ty. Also, I would give a google voice number or ask him to download the telegram app, give him my screen name which cannot be searched on any social media platform (or I guess you can make one up but if he’s standing there searching it in your presence…). Then block him later. Telegram is like WhatsApp but more confidential and the person won’t pop up in people you may know on social channels because you never gave them your phone number.

This scenario happened to me too. I’m so sorry. I’m still so upset about how he took advantage. He’s a pig and that guy is a pig. I was even topless 😭 I’m never drunk and I drank that night due to a crack in emotional vulnerability, he swept in. I even said I want to save myself for marriage (which I do, others on here may not agree but I feel this protects me). He still swooped in when I was drink AND no offense he is not on my level, so he’s probably gloating with his pig belly. What goes arou…

I would wait until you feel good physically, ONLY because it’s best you’re dating when you’re most confident. That’s me though. I’ve dated when I’ve been in a slump place and for me it didn’t turn out well, LVM experiences, I allowed a bit of my insecurity in that slump place to date down, allowed behavior to slide I normally wouldn’t.. so actually if you’re able to date from that queen space just as you would when you’re feeling your best, you can assure yourself youll hold your boundaries etc.…

This. Similar story. I grew up in a sheltered community of good people for the most part, a homey type environment where people are good to each other. I moved to a big city and carried this same trusting attitude with me. Let’s just say I learned the hard way that people are on default more evil than good, and it took me being a naive girl thrown into a pack of wolves to learn that. I was even trying to help wolves along the way, that’s how naive I was. It’s not someone’s fault you’ll believe w…

Wow. How did he find you on Facebook? Social media is so creepy in this regard. People tend to lack basic boundaries these days it seems. Why on earth would he friend you??? I just got back from the mechanic actually to change my tire. The guy behind the counter was friendly, but he “jokingly” joked how did your tire get like that? Did your boyfriend do that? It’s definitely the opposite. I wish I didn’t buy into that culture. The less partners the better, I believe you are preserving the quality of your life in this way too. Whenever you have sex with someone it’s like you’re joining with them. You’re preserving your emotional health and your energy. Save it for the high value one ☝🏻 I have become so much more conservative on this topic hit I believe it’s for the benefit of the quality of life long term! Thank you for sharing this uplifting story. Can I ask you what an example of one of your tests were? Did the unconsciously come to you in the moment or did FDS suggest these tests? In my 20s I was extremely naive and had a few boyfriends, trips offered, trips given, however was taken advantage of too due to being insecure (although I attracted lots of male attention). Yeah 😞 it wasn’t rape but I definitely would not have made out with him and a little further if I did not drink. It was my fault for starting the drink in the first place. I have learned, as someone who has also dated, friends, or just hung out with. etc with several celebrities, that power and fame and money mean nothing when it has to do with a good candidate for a friendship or relationship (well it’s nice if they have a good character…) Only if it’s work related fine. But personal wise, it can be even more dangerous because they have connections and such and power, etc if they feel you cross them. I used to be excited for these relationships when I was more na…

Yeah it’s just because this guy and I share mutual people we know. Just was a little worried he would talk sh*t like she removed me from her page and I didn’t do anything to her..but I tend to worry more than I should. I agree with this post and also am getting this too. I get insta DMs from guys I’ve met in person (we know mutual people) but I’m met them once or twice. However now they think they know me. One guy who is nice but continues to DM me, suggested we hang out but put that sentence “what day are you free?” On vanish mode. Didn’t know that even existed on instagram but thought that was odd. I personally decided I won’t sleep with a guy until I’m married (or if I ever am). I have slept with guys before but I’m not giving it up unless it’s “real” again. I told this to a date (during pandemic when I was vulnerable and lonely and confused btw) just to be up front. My first time hearing about red pill was this week on this forum. I’m glad to be aware of this.. Same! I take things for face value most the time! I also do things at face value, don’t have the time for games otherwise. So this wouldn’t grab my attention either, only if the guy deliberately walked up to me and asked me what my name is.

Do they target the naive? My fault is believing everyone is good and a normal person, I’ve always been too naive with a good heart. Yes the thing is we never dated though, nothing to take revenge on. Distance acquaintance. Yet he still wanted to manipulate. Won’t associate with him anymore, silently blocked him. It’s a really strange way of showing it. He kept leading me on with this imaginary photo shoot for 5 months (my bad). I’m working on not assuming people have good intentions, I have too good of a heart for this world. You would think someone who wants to date you would want to see you sooner so it doesn’t make sense.
